    I like this show! It has potential! I can see some of it is silly but it is evolving! Fast and entertaining. The show grows on you. I hope they continue fine tuning the humor with a fun, witty and sophisticated approach.

    Nothing about the first two episodes of this show worked for me. The jokes were tired, the casting and story felt forced, and it was a complete bore. I'm not sure how this show makes it long term, or why NBC is pushing it so hard.

    After catching a glimpse of my wife watching this show and making fun of her for watching it I decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by it. To be honest I was ecstatic that I gave it a shot. Witty lines, excellent physical comedy and as a resident of Miami, the fun it pokes at the city and our way of thinking towards certain things is spot on. I hope NBC realizes that thisAfter catching a glimpse of my wife watching this show and making fun of her for watching it I decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by it. To be honest I was ecstatic that I gave it a shot.     Episode called "Rivals" is the funniest thing! We've watched it over and over. All those Romeo and Juliet references between the two gay lovers were hilarious. Even a balcony scene. We loved the rival Sexy Scientists too. This is our new favorite show.

    Trouble is, there’s not a single surprising twist on any of the threadbare inside-showbiz tropes, and even worse, every single zinger feels like it’s from a hastily assembled first draft.

    A lot of Telenovela's humor will stretch across any cultural divide.... But what distinguishes Telenovela from any other sitcom--its relentless lampooning of every convention of its own genre, from the pistolero mustaches of the villains to the ever-escalating décolletage wars of the heroines--may fall flat with an audience that's largely unfamiliar with real novelas.
