Nov 2, 2017Just when the major networks are stepping up their game along comes S.W.A.T. Keystone cops on steroids. Great action scenes ruined by poor writing and a comical story line. Watching the team follow Shamar in unison around the hood, desperately trying to score a lead was painful. Hopefully future episodes are a little more intelligent and realistic.

Nov 3, 2017Please if this series will ever be worth watching get a good police adviser! The cop who shot a kid wouldn't be fired the next day. Police have unions and a right to a fair trial. The smart A## kid speeding to work would most likely be fired and would never be allowed on a disciplined unit like SWAT. The series does them a disservice!!!!! I will give it one more chance since I enjoy Shamar.

Nov 11, 2017This is the worst show! was looking forward to this.however its so terrible, Shermar Moore's part should be reduced big time. Full change to this show needed ASAP or cancel now!
Take the new show the brave as good start. I liked Shermar on CM but he his killing this, so bad! -
Jan 21, 2018This show will be lucky if it gets another season. Shemar Moore is terrible and at times the show is just flat out cringey and hard to watch.
-
Nov 23, 2017S.W.A.T. is that typical series that only pursuits brainless action in order to get some changes and keep going. Just another day at the office of CBS.

Apr 26, 2018I've never rated a show before but this show is so terrible I had to say, "Don't watch it!" I keep hoping that Shemar who was so sexy and good in CM would improve his performance but he hasn't. And the story lines are completely ridiculous.

Jan 1, 2018S.W.A.T. is an awesome show. The show keeps you on your toes. The actors are outstanding and you feel like you are there with them. I enjoy watching this show.

Nov 3, 2017I might sound like a TV troglodyte, but I must say that this one reminds me of good, fast pace, action movies from the past. After long stressful day at work, all I need is to grab a beer and relax with something enjoyable and energetic, which does not make me ponder over the pity of existence.
Kind of energy drink for my soul. Thumbs up! -
Nov 5, 2018Decent action police show, if you are a fan of NCIS, Hawaii Five-0, Seal Team, etc you'll probably enjoy it.

Jun 18, 2019Second season was much better than the first season. Much more action and a better plotline but this is a good show.

S.W.A.T. is the most vapid, rah-rah ridiculous kind of cop show imaginable—a superhero fantasy that takes place in a Los Angeles populated by mustache-twirling villains and gorgeous, perfect-in-spite-of-their-flaws cops.
-
A show that at times awkwardly seeks to contemporize and contextualize the material while still offering basic thrills of the busting-down-doors variety.
-
With its characters at once thin and broad; its L.A. backdrop; and its mix of existential philosophizing, social commentary and corny representations of hot-button issues, “S.W.A.T.” also recalls and has some of the appeal of Jack Webb’s classic "Dragnet," but with a more progressive outlook and a sprinkling of sex scenes.
