Summary:
At the beginning of 2005, at six audition venues around the UK, thousands of dance hopefuls had just two minutes to see if they had what it takes to impress the show's dance instructors and win a place on Strictly Dance Fever.
The floor was then open for those who impressed the judges, those with raw talent and star quality, to shake their stuff on screen in a brand new dance series, Strictly Dance Fever.
From tap to tango, street dance to body popping and salsa to lindy hop, the nation's most talented non-professional dancers strutted their stuff on the dance floor hoping to win public support, and your vote!
The irrepressible Graham Norton hosted this dance extravaganza which saw ten couples taught a new dance routine each week from a variety of different dance styles in the hope of dancing away with the coveted prize of £50,000.
It is now back for a second series, although it is still not as popular as the original Strictly Come Dancing. Anne Robison has even described the show as "Come Dancing for chavs!"
