    despite not being a good pilot episode, the show becomes funny in the second episode, Raven-Symone, Majandra Delfino and Loretta Devine make an excellent cast that the show is quite amusing.

    This show is too childish. It belongs on Disney...not ABC Family. I was excited to hear that Raven Symone would be back on television because I loved watching That's So Raven growing up, but she has proven to be disappointing in this show so far.

    State of Georgia just comes across as a straight-down-the-middle girls-in-the-city comedy that wouldn't have been out of place on ABC or NBC's lineup back in 1987.

    I found myself more drawn to the part of next week's episode where we see Jo with her fellow physics grad students--think "Big Bang Theory" with "American Idol's" Kevin "Chicken Little" Covais--and wondering if a slightly less seductive Georgia (at any weight) might not have a better shot at being the funny girl.
