    With interesting stories crisply written, plenty of action and (of course) a really cool car, "Starsky and Hutch" was one of the first police series that was actually "hip" without seeming forced or out of step- something aided greatly by good acting and the genuine on-screen chemistry between stars Paul Michael Glasser ("Starsky") and David Soul ("Hutch") displayed in their portrayal ofWith interesting stories crisply written, plenty of action and (of course) a really cool car, "Starsky and Hutch" was one of the first police series that was actually "hip" without seeming forced or out of step- something aided greatly by good acting and the genuine on-screen chemistry between stars Paul Michael Glasser ("Starsky") and David Soul ("Hutch") displayed in their portrayal of an "Odd Couple"-type police detective partnership.

    Things had begun to slip by the third season, but the first two are pretty golden & are most certainly worth checking out.    … Expand
