It's sad that there are a bunch of awesome episodes in this season, and at the same time a lot of awful ones.

Just like the sixth season, it got even more episodes on Earth which are all less impressive. Like I said, it's sad that there are so many less great episodes like "Fragile Balance", "Heroes Part 1 & 2", "Resurrection", "Space Race" and "Chimera". At the same time are there a

At the same time are there a bunch of awesome episodes like "Fallen Part 2 & 3", "Avenger 2.0", "Evolution Part 1 & 2" and "Lost City Part 1 & 2". It felt like the series lost the adventure in the end of the season, even though the season finale was the best I've seen. In comparison with season six, it got even more unserious episodes, especially the episode "Heroes Part 1 & 2", I mean come on, what the hell!

Stargate SG-1: Season 7 is a season that doesn't have the classic adventurous science fiction like in the previous seasons. But at the same time it does have massive and epic episodes. Season 5 and 7 are to me the less impressive seasons of Stargate SG-1. It's not true that I hate this season, because Stargate SG-1 is an impressive show that might be the best ever, but when it comes to this season in compression with the previous: it's less great.

The average score for each episode is: 7.83.
    Stargate SG-1: Season 7 get an 8/10.

Season 7 is about stopping Anubis who is far more than an average Goa’uld system lord. He is on another level and far more dangerous than anything they fought. He is on another level and far more dangerous than anything they fought. A key to defeating him is finding the hidden city of Atlantis which was the capital of the ancients which had technology the current factions can only dream of (The Stargates and regeneration technology the Goa’uld use are reversed engineered from them for example). Here also the strength of the show comes to fruition. I said a lot in my reviews that a strength of the show is the set up of characters and arcs. Many things will be build up and have impacts or developments in later seasons or were prepared in previous seasons to unfold. Together with the cast we get an amazing experience. Also a character returns to enhance SG1 and I say good that he is back. The climax is an amazing battle and shows how much mankind has developed from the Stargate program. This season has a lot of good episodes and I continue with my favourites before the final rating: “Fallen” returns a favourite character and solves the cliffhanger from last season. Also Jonas has informations that are more important than he knows and I like how they tease this and use later. “Fragile Balance” has a humorous situation, interesting concept and nice conclusion. Bonus for Michael Welch who fully sells his role I cant spoil. “Revisions” has a great mystery, suspense and works amazingly well. I can say more because of spoilers. “Enemy Mine” has a story that works from start to finish and clever solution. Sidenote: The title is a reference to a great but somehow forgotten classic movie I recommend. “Birthright” for the Hak’tyl, idea and moral dilemmas that Moloc created. “Evolution part 1 and 2” for a new menace, clever use of the set ups and ideas. “Fallout” for Jonas, the situation and Kianna. Wished to see more from her so it is a miss too. “Death Knell” for the cat and mouse game of the dire situation. “Resurrections” for Anna, the idea and whole story. Be warned has a bittersweet ending. “Lost city part 1 and 2” is an amazing finish for the season. It is a dire race up to an epic climax that is everything I wanted. Overall I want to give a 10/10 but it has also many fine but not great episodes. I give a 9/10 instead but say the final is 11/10;-). Bonus for the resolve where Atlantis actually was. Expand
