Wohoo go star wars for letting some extremely creative animation teams get you out of your boring cookie-cutter box you put yourself in.

    Star Wars: Menstrutations

The Force is now all Female, and it shows with this regressive interpretation of Star Wars that focuses on a HERos journey. Apparently In 2023 diversity & inclusion means having only one gender represented. Visually some episodes are interesting, the stories are lackluster, the tone and themes are more Disney like than ever.

I was impressed by the first season as it was creative, felt fresh and really enjoyable. Even the episodes I disliked were in such a quality that it felt wrong to complain. Season 2 is mostly a small disappointment without being awful. For this season they switched from exclusively Japanese studios to animation studios from around the world. Even the episodes I disliked were in such a quality that it felt wrong to complain. Season 2 is mostly a small disappointment without being awful. For this season they switched from exclusively Japanese studios to animation studios from around the world. It tells stories from the Star Wars universe that are not canon or don't need canon. This creative freedom is again a breath of fresh air and enjoyable. However it is pale compared to season 1. Lets rate the episodes: “Sith” is visual art. It is like paintings telling a story. Normally I do not like this but it won me over and I praise the beautiful style and meaningful conclusion. Best episode in this season. “Screechers Reach” I enjoyed for the characters and emotions it creates. Otherwise I would consider it not that great. “In the Stars” . The story is told a bit blunt and feels forced. This weakens the experience. I can see this being amazing with more time to develop the story and characters. “I m your Mother” makes me regret saying that the previous episode feels blunt and forced. This is painfully cliche, blunt and a bit over the top. Not awful but also not enjoyable. “Journey to the Dark Head” slightly misses the mark to praise it. However I like the main characters and would like to see more. “The Spy Dancer” won me over. Artistically and story wise a really good episode that created emotions. I liked also the ending that is a set up for a great follow up. “The Bandits of Golak”. I like the style and creativity but again it is foreseeable and a bit blunt. O.K episode with sparkles of greatness. Also why no t more Bollywood? “The Pit” is probably to much art for me. For clarification. This means it is really good or even awesome but I am not able to appreciate it. “Aau’s Song” is double the great but not for me the previous episode was. Overall I give a 6/10 and say it is weaker than season 1 but not bad either. Expand

Star Wars Visions Season 2 "Strong Whamen" edition. Doesn't really add anything but just exists as "content" to pass time, about as fulfilling as putting on a track of Star Wars sound effects to listen to.. no wait.. worse and more empty than that.

Yet mother failed attempt from d*sney at milking the star wars franchise even more, brings nothing new to the table. No light sabers no star wings and no death star? Why? Star Wars needs to hav Luke and Leila get together and stop Vader but it never happens.

Whereas the Aardman short is cute and funny, the Cartoon Saloon is an astounding piece of art, maybe top 10 best star wars content ever. Loved the Indian one too! Solid season.

Coming off the series’ successful first outing, Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 offers more quality and variety from its selection of studios. The results are astounding from many and underwhelming from few, but it continues to establish itself as a bold creative endeavor worth experiencing for Star Wars fans, new and old.

Alternately goofy, political, sweet, and thrilling, the show celebrates the broad reach of Star Wars and provides plenty of characters and plots compelling enough to anchor their own spinoffs.

Volume 2 transcends that ambition to all Star Wars supporters, and more profoundly, those who have followed content that now lies outside of continuity. Each story stands apart from another while all carry a collective thematic element that binds the series to the official canon of the continuity.

Star Wars: Visions feels like the best Star Wars we’ve had all year. ... Star Wars: Visions may be too good. ... It makes you wish that Lucasfilm would loosen the reigns a bit. It turns out that Star Wars feels most like Star Wars when it’s defying all expectations.
