The final season does not disappoint. It is a satisfying ending that closes all story arcs. I must point out how important that is. Series like The X-Files, Lost and Game of Thrones failed and left the fans and viewers behind with the sad taste of disappointment up to anger and frustration. Here you get the resolve of the Dominion war and the fate or should I say faith of Bajor. AllThe final season does not disappoint. All characters get their chance to shine and a good resolve. Ezri Dax is the new character for this season and I am impressed how she fills the role. Respect for her as I did not think anyone could do it this good. For the story we get a lot of highlights, twists and game changers. There are good reveals and small things that matter. I think I go to my recommendations to give a bit more spoiler free info. “Image in the Sands” and “Shadows and Symbols” are a two parter. It explains why Sisko is the emissary of the prophets, shows how to get properly into Sto-vo-kor and introduces Ezri. Excellent story and character development. “Take me out to the Holosuite” for this kind of hunorous situation, Baseball and giving us an enjoyable moment of peace. “Chrysalis” for the return of 4 of my favorite side characters. Would have liked to see more of them. “Treachery, Faith and the great River” for All Weyoun moments / interactions and a gamechanger also a bit foreshadowing. Like also Nogs story and the concept “millions of worlds”. “Once more unto the Breach” One of the best Klingon episodes in Star Trek. Tells you a lot about Klingon culture and honor. “Field of Fire” for the psycho thriller elements, who done it and insight views into Ezri. “Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges” is a Section 31 episode and one of the best. When the plot is resolved it was an amazing ride. “The Changing Face of Evil” for pulling this of. I cant spoil but it is a game changer (or two?) and impactful. “Tacking into the Wind” An esential episode for Worf, Gowron and Martok (and their fans). Also how Damar grows into someone I would admire. Kira and Garak are excellent here too. “Extreme Measures” For Bashir, O'Brien and Sloan. The struggle and mind games are breathtaking. Finally “What you leave behind” A fitting and well done final for a great show. All arcs are closed in a satisfying way and the characters get also a fine end to their stories. Overall this cemented DS9 as best Star Trek show. I want to thank all people involved for this show, characters and story. My best wishes to all of you. Expand
