Summary:
In this new series, John Safran sheds his prankster image, and with his comic side kick Catholic priest Father Bob Maguire, tackles current religious issues in a chat show format with regular studio guests. The show deals mainly current issues from a spiritual and inevitably a comic angle. John Safran addresses such issues as helping young singles find partners of the same faith in 'Matchmaker Matchmaker.' In the regular 'Phenomenon,' John and Father Bob interview people who have had spooky experiences (such as sighting a Golem in the Czech capital Prague and people who claim to be able to communicate with dogs). Other guests include scientists investigating such phenomena and cult-busters.
