    The first season had some funny moments overall and one or two really good episodes but other than that, it was just okay.

    I have no problem with comedy shows that push the boundaries of decency, and have often found myself laughing at shows like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia or Family Guy.     Is it just me or has South Park betrayed all its uniqueness, quirks and hilarity over the past few seasons? Yes the show has evolved, but it's becoming more dull, run of the mill, and is sacrificing its edgy risky humor for contemporary blandness. This show used to be cool.

    This show is the funniest and craziest show on television. Every character is interesting and funny too. The humor is very very black and yes sometimes the humor is a little bit weirdo. But south park is still amazing. Trey Park and Matt Stone are inspirations.

    This show is funny and pretty good. But a flaw is that is carries on some jokes for too long and it gets sorta boring. Like there is just too much talking sometimes and you just get plain bored and the comedy just isn't that funny sometimes.

    South Park is so hilarious LOL XD! Stan, Kyle, Eric, and Kenny are super funny! I want to be on South Park and make awesome jokes and make fun of everything.

    South Park is the funniest animated series.Some say that every or almost every episode there is something to be ridiculed,personally, what ridicule I had not noticed.Every or almost every series there are various characters which you neosizexl to see.In General, the best animated series.

    "South Park" was a lively but fun series, parodies and black jokes and characters that gave much to talk about, the episodes are very good and the characters incredible.

    Long ago I wanted to look at this show, and only in 2017 weren't too busy. It is the best adult animated film! It is so much sendings, mockery and tragicomedy no, not in one show! Excellent first season.

    ‘South Park’ and its simple animation might not be a comedy for everyone. It can be way too immature, loud & odd. But its profanity, dark and surreal humor is something others will love! Its story can be very unpredictable and if you like this satire-ish humor; then you definitely will adore the main characters. Inside to them are shown to a somewhat extent, and their chemistry &‘South Park’ and its simple animation might not be a comedy for everyone. It can be way too immature, loud & odd. But its profanity, dark and surreal humor is something others will love! Its story can be very unpredictable and if you like this satire-ish humor; then you definitely will adore the main characters. Inside to them are shown to a somewhat extent, and their chemistry & relationship are superb to watch. Sure, much of the show is heavily filled with expositions and some jokes are getting a bit old. But overall is the story of our kids in ’South Park’ kind of entertaining, and I somewhat wanna plug in season 2 right now -- but i don’t think SP is a very great comedy. But a great introduction of this weird world for sure!

    I have been watching South Park since Cartman was abducted by aliens in Season 1, Ep 1. I also have collected every season on DVD. It is utterly amazing that the creators, writers and production staff are able to keep the show so fresh. Their one week turnaround time allows them the ability to be right on top of recent events.     Independent TV series as long as it grows to be more mature than everybody thinks and realizes that it's just fiction. South Park is more better than Family guy but Simpsons gets to childish when their behavior irritates you.

    The best show ever! I'm so pumped for season 20!!!! I love this show to bits and Stan is the best character in the series. Love the Kyle's a Jew jokes and the swearing.

    This show is hilarious and the people who hate it say 'EWWW that's gross" ITS AN ADULT SHOW! DUH! Or they say it is "unfunny" cause we all love breaking bad. Honestly I thought Breaking Bad was mediocre.

    Smart, vulgar, raunchy, and absolutely hysterical!!! This is one of the greatest shows ever put to television, it's a great comedy series that has much to say!!! I love every episode of this series and I want to see many more to come!!!

    This reveiw goes towards the entire show as a whole, not by one season.

    I love this show. It's full of tons of laughs, heart, and losts of insulting. If you are easily offended by racism and other stuff, this is not the show for you. The characters are stupid, fat, and funny, thats what makes this show funny. The story as well is very well crafted and the ideas keep getting better.

    The humor is great. The casting is great. The art-style is great. The everything-about-this-show is great. It has cheesy humor and a great art style. I was laughing for hours when I saw it for the first time. It also has lovable jerks in it. Example: Eric Cartman.

    South Park had a brilliant opening season. It focuses mainly on the four young kids Kenny, Cartman, Stan and Kyle which will eventually branch out into dozens of characters. South Park is a bit all over the place but as crazy as it is it couldn't make any more sense. I understand that people either love the show or hate it. After the first season I'm certainly loving it.     I watched this with my dad when I was 5 years old and I still remember the first episode I watched,I was to young to understand what was being said or could figure out why my dad laughed every now and then, I like this show and I always look forward to watching an episode everyday.     Unfortunately, South Park's crude and insensitive humor put me in the wrong frame of mind. A state that makes you just dislike something. I don't like this show, but can I be blamed for disliking something like this?

    More than just fun, it seems a means to show inappropriate things to the kids, because I did not see anything comedy. It is an offense to all religion, black people, homosexuality, among other things. What were they thinking creators of this series?, And I'm happy just to give you 4, but this does not even reach 1 is very poor and does not give good examples.

Quite often only by sitting through two racist Canadian stereotypes farting on one another can you get some of the most blatant, intelligent morals and speeches delivered by people who clearly couldn't care less if you like them or not.     Blatantly designed to tickle the funny bones of teenage boys and those who think like them, the show delivers plenty of lowbrow laughs, at the same time indulging in excesses seemingly calculated to shock the sensibilities of TV watchdogs. [13 Aug 1997]

    For now, at least, the satirical elements aren't as sharp as other popular cartoons like "The Simpsons" or "King of the Hill" or even "Beavis & Butt-Head." [13 Aug 1997]
