    Yet another amazing season of Sons of Anarchy. How the writers do it is beyond me, but this is easily my favorite show on television right now. Each episode is riveting and leaves you craving for more,

    Such a great show at so many levels. The stories are great, the emotion is raw, and overall the combination with these actors and characters is mesmerizing to watch. You don't have to be a biker follower to get it. It's about family and friendships at their core sometimes these take us to good places and other times lead to conflict but in the end it is what matters most that wins us overSuch a great show at so many levels.     Proving to be one of the most promising shows on television this fall. The story is directly connecting the last season and the beginning of this season. The performances are outstanding and the story line is excellent. Every time the show ends I can't wait until the next episode begins.

    I love this series, but, for the first time, I'm letting episodes stack up before watching them. Why? Because the kidnapped baby storyline is dull, which is bad, and sentimental, which is worse. One of the things I've always admired about SOA is its refusal to jerk tears or resort to easy platitudes, so I can't fathom why Sutter & company suddenly placed an Infant in Peril at the centerI love this series, but, for the first time, I'm letting episodes stack up before watching them. Why? Because the kidnapped baby storyline is dull, which is bad, and sentimental, which is worse. One of the things I've always admired about SOA is its refusal to jerk tears or resort to easy platitudes, so I can't fathom why Sutter & company suddenly placed an Infant in Peril at the center of events. There's no moral complexity with a Purloined Babe; there are only quivering lips, shouts of "You don't understand!" and behavior that would look shockingly selfish without the Son of Captivity to excuse it. We're promised a big payoff as the season ends, but episodes should be strong in their own right, not just set-ups for a punchline. Hope season four returns to form!… Expand

    Following very strong first and second seasons, Season 3 is a meandering, drawn-out detour into an implausible plot line. The shift away from the show's strength -- the gritty, believable portrayal of MC life -- towards increasingly bombastic events simply feels forced. Moments of strange comedy are also inserted into the third season, fitting very poorly with the overarching tone that wasFollowing very strong first and second seasons, Season 3 is a meandering, drawn-out detour into an implausible plot line. The shift away from the show's strength -- the gritty, believable portrayal of MC life -- towards increasingly bombastic events simply feels forced. Moments of strange comedy are also inserted into the third season, fitting very poorly with the overarching tone that was painstakingly developed over the previous two seasons. One's suspension of disbelief is frequently challenged as Season 3's hyperbolic, overcharged atmosphere tries to outdo itself time and time again. Jax (Hunnam), who has always been the weakest actor of the bunch, continues in his mewling, self-righteous, conflicted ways, taking focus from other more interesting characters and stronger actors. A profoundly disappointing turn for an otherwise excellent series.… Expand

    Anyone else getting a little bored of this whole "They have my kid!" thing? I liked it better when they were roaming around Charming doing their thing. The storyline is getting way too convoluted and complex, not that i can't handle it, but this is supposed to be a fun show about bikers not The Wire(which of course I loved).

    Gritty, shocking, and wildly entertaining is how I describe this show. Season 1 and 2 got me hooked with a constant drama and setting the stage for the clubs wheeling and dealings in Charming. This season leaves me puzzled with all the twists and turns the plot is making it will be interesting to see if it can play out in the end. Jack's son is gone, that makes sense, but why the IRA isGritty, shocking, and wildly entertaining is how I describe this show. Granted the season is not over and the action is about to reach its peak, the involvement between Charming, the IRA, the infuriating FBI agent, and the shaky relationship with Jacks. The conclusion should be a mind blower but that anticipation keeps me coming back week after week. The most exciting show on TV right now… Expand

    Once again, Kurt Sutter has done the impossible. I saw this show two years ago, and wasnt interisted in the least. I was flipping through the channels and SamCro was on in mid-season. Ever sense then i've been hooked. The storyline is always changing. As soon as i'm able to predict what is going to happen (Like with CSI and The Mentalist) something new always comes up. Kurt said in one of his blogs that he didnt want to have the same storyline. Example: Jax pushing recklessly to change the club into what it was meant to be in season one. In season two, the Nords teamed up with White Power inorder to kill SamCro's gun running buisness. This season, it foucuses more on family, and the fact that we may be nowhere without the ones we love pushing us to go that extra mile. If the storyline becomes complicated, then we dont know whats going to happen. If it stays the same, then SamCro would've been canceled by now. No one wants to watch the same old crap on tv. Its not fun when it's predictable.

    I own and LOVED the first 2 season....and the first few episodes of Season 3, after that it was TERRIBLE. I was very disappointed but season 4 is good again so im backing paying full attention to the show. I was interested in what people said about this season so i had to come check it out.

With Hale presumably dead (there's no way anyone could get back up from that), and Gemma having to deal with her father's deteriorating mental health, this season has thrown open the doors for all sorts of crazy possibilities which, given the series' track record, will all be explored extensively.… Expand

    10,0 !! Great show! Katey Sagal and cast do the best jobs I´ve seen on television for quite some time. Every single character is interesting in some way. The story line is catchy and the roughness is just sexy and appealing. Kurt managed to turn violence into entertainment, with or without cliches. Blood, bikes, sex and punch makes me wait for Tuesday night.

    Season 3 heads into a very improbable 'Oirish' cul-de-sac. Which goes on. And on. Most of the Northern Irish accents (except Paula Malcomson of course) are painfully all over the place and the Irish countryside is hilariously Californian and sunny. The plot doesn't move forward much on either side of the Atlantic and the less sense it makes, the more soapy musical montages are thrown in.Season 3 heads into a very improbable 'Oirish' cul-de-sac. These are supposed to be hardened bikers are they not? What father would just sit around calmly while his infant son was missing? I'm not a hardened criminal but I'd start shooting people in the head until I got my son back and damn the consequences. Getting an out of some serious murder charges and then throwing it all away by fleeing the country? Jemma got raped and didn't talk and then she doesn't have enough self control to stay in the States until her charges were removed? How many times did the Sons get ambushed in this season before they started to suspect that something was wrong? Maybe the writers should put away the crayons. This season is garbage.… Expand

This show has turned into utter bollocks, the first two seasons were very good and paced really well, but this missing baby storyline is a joke, the characters have become overly sentimental and schmaltzy which is difficult to reconcile with the uncompromising action a show of this nature needs. Season 2 was more subtle and was a good examination of conflict tearing people apart, the characters were developing and were interesting, they have now turned into soundbite gimps, the creators have severely erred in trying to reconcile a fictional conflicts of a biker gang with a real world conflict of the IRA without any attempt to create even an iota a sense of realism or use skillful tact, (its difficult to see how a biker gang could make such in roads to the IRA when whole arms of government have tried and failed) The outcome of which is to turn a decent and interesting show into farce. In short the show has become boring in the end i stopped watching the show and looked on wiki for the outcome.… Expand

    Nothing could have risen to the level of the opening episode of season 2, but the season 3 opener packs an emotional wallop. I'm extremely excited about the rest of the season. Jacks needs to cross the pond to take care of his family business.

    Just bloody original and brilliant. Katey Sagal is a standout. Can't wait for the reruns and Season 3. I'd never have thought a drama about a biker gang would have me mezmerized

    What i felt was two strong season in season 1 and 2, season 3 kind of took a detour into unrealistic territory, episode after episode. Also you have situations that are completely unrealistic such as hostage situations in which outlaw bikers show up and provide intel. I have heard season 4 gets back on track so we will have to see.     Sons of Anarchy is such a great show! Its high drama, awesome action, and wonderful family dynamics all working together to make a absolute fantastic hour of television watching. Kurt Sutter and cast have done an amazing job with this show. I can't wait to see what happens next in the season! I just know that it will be great!

    This show is great. Although it is painted as a show about rough bikers and drugs, once the first 'layer' is removed ( after several viewings) you are ultimately left with one of the best dramas on television.

    This series has managed to lure me in. A real sceptic from the beginning but now I'm hooked.
    My only beef is having to wait a week to see the next episode. Katy Sagal and cast do one of the best jobs I have ever seen on television and make this roller coaster ride 100% believable.

    Thumbs up to Kurt and his gang!

    Sons of Anarchy has been critically acclaimed since its opening season and that acclaim is well deserved. It doesn’t consistently reach the heights of the absolute top tier dramas (The Soprano’s, Breaking Bad etc) and relies on convenient plot devices a little too often but the well written script and excellent cast make for a powerful drama series.

    This season was pretty slow and it had me worried for awhile, but Oh my goodness the finale was more than worth all the waiting and pacing that the writers put the audience through. In one of the most brilliant moments in T.V. writing history. The writers of S.O.A. turned everything we thought we believed around on us, and made us question why we hadn't seen it coming in the first place?

    Took me a while to start watching this show, started on Nflix during season 4, binged on seasons 1-3, killed me waiting on 4. Watched that on Nflix then watched 5-7 live. Love the show!

    Even better than the previous season. I know that a few fans were bored by the slow episodes and Abel's plot line taking 11 episodes to end. However, each episode was getting more intense and I was getting more and more uncomfortable. Also, a lot of people complained about the Irish accent during the Belfast episodes. Since I'm not from Ireland, it was no big deal for me and I actuallyEven better than the previous season.     Season 3 of SOA brings some of the best writing (especially with the Ireland episodes) and a fantastic performance from Katey Sagal (Home) as the gang's code of brotherhood stays strong all the way up to the season's brilliant finale.

    The darker and more complicated life gets for the Sons, the better the TV show tends to be. And based on the four episodes I've seen, Sons is still at the incredible level it achieved a year ago, when it became one of the best dramas on television.
