Oct 16, 2016There is absolutely no reason for low ratings on this show. Anyone who thinks this show is bad really doesn't have a sense of humor. If you grew up watching Thundercats or He-Man or any of that...you will enjoy this show. I honestly can't understand the hate that has been generated for this show...it's an instant classic.

Nov 7, 2016Hilarious, I am hooked. I started watching on my own, and now I am watching it with my 16 year old daughter. I enjoy the He-Man/skull smashing, barbarian mix. I really need a throat bagpipe..

Dec 30, 2016I'll keep this simple: if you were a child of the 80s, if Skeletor means something to you, or if you simply love clever/slightly absurd comedies, this is for you.

Oct 3, 2016I was able to catch both of the last two episodes and WOW...did it hit its stride in the second one. It's a hilarious take on the fish out of water concept...but it's not all rude and crass all the time. It has some very touching moments interspersed with the fact that everyone plays the part straight on making this a really fun show to watch. I love the humor!

Dec 4, 2016This is a great show with a stupid yet well pulled off concept. Jason does some fantastic voice acting here giving this deadpan yet eccentric comedy. This show shares some similarities to Space Ghost Coast to coast in small sense I think, I think the reviews are far too harsh on this show.

Oct 16, 2016A great premise and a talented go a long way in making this comedy stand out, especially for anyone who was alive in the 80s as a kid, or with kids. If the show can keep up the pace it's got early in this season, it'll have potential to be something special.

Oct 2, 2016Finally a show that isn't afraid to call out the cultural narrative that guys should be physically weak and sensitive. The show may not be well received by some women who may feel like Zorn represents everything they hate about men, but honestly, this is entertainment at its finest. More politically incorrect shows please!!

Sep 12, 2016Based only on the pilot I have to say I love it and if you like Sea Lab 2021, Archer, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Frisky Dingo you will enjoy it too. I can't wait for more.

Sep 26, 2016The writing is off and the fact that the main character is animated make the whole scene and all the acting weird, to be honest I consider the show a waste of time and descent actors.
-
Sep 30, 2016The animated portion does not look like it interacts with the live action portion at all, resulting in stiff jokes that feel like something that wishes they were in Space Ghost Coast to Coast.
The kind hearted plot may or may not be enough to make up for this. -

May 11, 2017This show is hilarious. But, because it is not a clone of Family Guy the American critics panned it. American critics only like **** and fart jokes. Anything else flies over their heads.

Jun 17, 2017I caught this show on an airline the other day and quickly watched all available episodes. It's really funny. The concept is definitely off beat but I think it really works. The show has such a strong cast as well - almost every actor I recognized from other comedy shows. There's even an occasional character voiced by Nick Offerman :-)

Oct 21, 2018This humor may not be for everybody, but If you appreciate odd humor you may find it hilarious.
I only give this show a 10 to balance out ridiculous reviews of 0, but it is a solid, funny show.

Brash jokes to the opposite extreme are good for a quick chuckle, but deeper laughs came from the above comparisons many of us find in day-to-day life. Still, what makes Son of Zorn an exciting new series is that it can go to both ends of the spectrum with consistency.
-
Meadows was the one minor bright spot as the self-emasculating and self-deprecating therapist. Hines' allusions to a wild, coked-up past, Zorn's workplace woes, Pemberton's teen angst-these were all well-treaded tropes, and likely a missed opportunity for something more clever.

It gets old the minute it starts.
