Dec 9, 2022Reminds me of one of my favorite spy TV Shows, Rubicon. Looking forward to more and more seasons of Slow Horses, it's really good.

Jan 19, 2023While not quite as strong as it's debut season, it's still an entertaining, and at times funny ride that packs a lot into it's 6 episodes.

Feb 10, 2023Excellent show. Acting synchronizes with the storyline which makes it good. Story is good. Side story lines and characters are excellent. All in all we'd rate this "watch it and enjoy."

Mar 30, 2023Great stuff! Some real spycraft in a comedy, dark humor sauce. You laugh and then see it's kind of real, because somebody dies. That's hard to balance and show runners are geniuses. Very original and keeping style and pace from the first season. Great acting, great dialogues, really cool.

This time, the action begins with a former MI5 Cold War agent dead on a bus, and it spirals out from there into twists involving the sleeper agents and a possible terrorist attack. It’s complicated, but it’s worth it in the end, just like Lamb’s crime-solving methods.

Of course you’re going to want to see Gary Oldman act his brains out and make it look like second-nature – he carries Slow Horses through its more boilerplate scenes.

The season has a determinedly cinematic quality that elevates it beyond most spy series, as does the first-rate writing. ... It's hard to say if "Slow Horses" is a comedy first, a thriller second. It straddles genres deftly, perhaps creating its own in the process.
