Who thought the tech industry could be so funny? One of the most relevant shows out there today.

One of the greatest series in the history of television. It stayed consistently funny throughout and had a satisfying ending.

Endlessly funny and full of charm, Silicon Valley is almost always consistently funny, even if the plot starts to get stale after season 3, it always remains entertaining.

This HBO series was created by Mike Judge (Beavis and Butt-Head, King of the Hill animated TV series). So, if you are one of the many individuals who like his humor, you are a candidate for enjoying Silicon Valley.

If you are not interested in the venture capital mechanisms of the Silicon Valley region of the San Francisco Bay area, I would think you would not find this series particularly interesting.

But, I think a lot of individuals are interested in this subject because of the amount of technology that has arisen from there that significantly effects our lives. The subject matter is extremely relevant and it could be educational for a lot of individuals. Note that the first season was released in 2014 and technology can be a very rapidly changing subject - so, keep that in mind.

Without that, I can't imagine that so many individuals would rate Silicon Valley so highly. Perhaps my perspective is not broadly relevant because my background is computer science and technology. I was familiar with almost every topic and comedic twist that the series used and I found nothing in it to be surprising or even particularly interesting.

The casting for the series was interesting within the context of a comedic series. The acting, directing, editing, etc were all of good professional quality.

Obviously most people find the comedic view of the venture capital environment of Silicon Valley to be interesting and fun. Also, there seems to be a broad interest in the humor of science and technology "nerds". I would think just about anyone would want to view a few episodes of this series to see if it is something they would like to continue watching. There are 53 episodes form 6 seasons - so, there is a lot of content available for your entertainment.

Peaked early, but it was one of the best comedies on tv for 2 or the years.

That is why I was mad on HBO for some reason. Yeah, the final of the final season isn't great enough but it's shot cool. Looking backward I can say that it is one of the best series about IT or the best when which was shown on TV. The cleverest, the funniest, the dirtiest. And these tens of hours were worth it. Expand

The strength of Silicon Valley (SV) is in its characters and the unique insight you get into a world many of us don't get to see or can barely understand and it really is glorious to watch. SV embraces the nerd-o-sphere and wrings it dry with a wit and charm few shows of this ilk can touch. The humour is on point and credit must go to the writing as well as the acting, individual characters are superbly fleshed out over the course of the series and it's these characters that draw you in, as well as the situations they navigate that makes for a uniquely relatable show for pretty much everyone. Best show regarding tech out there. Can be predictable at times but the humor is worth it.

Very funny and good show with an ending lacking satisfaction. Even with parts of the plot not delivering at times the show remains funny.
