Watched the first 2 episodes, not impressed. Absolutely shockingly bad. Extremely anti-male from the get go. Women = all powerful without fault, men = dumb and useless. There is an agenda being pushed really hard and you will be ridiculed if you disagree with them. If you want to watch a decent Marvel female lead show, watch Agent Carter, back when Marvel was decent until they lost the plot.

The humor is weak as can be which is especially pathetic for a sitcom. And the CGI is still pretty poor. Hard pass. Expand

They took a great woman hero from the comics and ruined her with modern political messaging. She's insufferable out the gate. Mary Sue 101. She gets her ego stoked by her best friend and she constantly states she's better than the Hulk. The CGI improved only slightly from the Uncanny Valley horror we got in trailer reveals.

This is a crying shame. Disney should lean more into the source

The show is good from what I can tell, it's not exactly groundbreaking but it's really good so far and still has room to grow. Don't listen to the incel snowflakes that are mad about a female lead, they usually get mad about that sort of thing turns out, that and people of color really get under their skin so I say keep up the good work. ;)

Disney continues to lose their reputation for great graphics and effects. The talent is not to blame, it's all 100% woke, condescending and lazy Disney. Let's just face it, this company will never be the same in quality again. Lightyear was a complete failure; Toy Story 4 was a disgrace, and this is their next cumbersome title to make you wish they tried harder.

The story is just bad, the antagonist useless. The context of the story is probably the worse part: it does not tie to the rest of the MCU and particularly the backstory of Bruce Banner, why? We got it, it's another misandrist show with its own kind of "Mary Sue" trying to rival Rey or Batwoman, etc where woman= near perfection immediately and man = dumb fool at best. Expand

What I didn’t expect was the canonization of Captain America loosing his virginity to a show girl like some sick fan fiction, or a character saying her life is worse then a character who had just had his girlfriend killed to literally save half the universe, and the mere option of suicide denied to him after eating a bullet, how is her life worse? She gets cat called and toxic men in the work force man-plain to her. Or actually might have the chance of getting murdered be a guy who actually caused the deaths of thousands if not millions of people because of a monster he can not control. Yes the average woman clearly has handles anger far better then the character they spent 15 years on building tragedies for. I guess I’m the fool for thinking the writer of the famous Pickle Rick episode could somehow save this show. Expand

They can't even manage to put together a single action scene that doesn't look awful. The first real fight scene (the end of episode 1) is the most horribly chopped up mess I've ever seen. The entire thing looks so cheap and miserably edited.

It is simply a poor TV show, even if you ignore the continued teardown of the Hulk and the constant barrage of whining about being a female.

And at the end of the episode that she took off her shows to fight the woman who entered the courtroom (that didnt even was explained why she attacked) bc the shows could break during transformation. Absolute cringefest.

That sounds pretty convoluted and it is, it isn't explained very well, and there are definitely plot holes. She trains with Bruce and everything is done in this very corny, attempting to be humorous way. There are also of course woke elements to the narrative like pitting the genders against each other and addressing the issues of misogyny and sexism facing a 30-something year old woman in the legal profession. The liberal angle of the show didn't bother me as She-Hulk has always been a feminist icon, but I didn't find the humor very amusing and the stakes in the story didn't seem that high. It just wasn't that interesting. Expand

It could have been so good. But Disney broke it again with their woke stuff.
She-Hulk can practice everything and of course better than Hulk’s 10 years had to control the monster in himself.
It’s all so anti-male and horrible, I wonder why it couldn’t have been just a modern Ellen Ripley or a second Sarah Connor.

It is Maslany who brings the most energy to the show, hating her nickname because it's a derivative of a man's and breaking the fourth wall Fleabag-style. I will say that the bits when she is alone with Banner at his beach hideout drag somewhat, and it's silly quite a lot of the time, but it succeeds. A superhero tale with a serious message but which doesn't take itself too seriously.
