Solid show ten episodes long that, as one critic noted, feels like 15. David Lyons completely disappears in his role of a dirty cop while Regina King was, per standard, excellent as well. The standout however was the newcomer Clare-Hope ****Solid show ten episodes long that, as one critic noted, feels like 15. David Lyons completely disappears in his role of a dirty cop while Regina King was, per standard, excellent as well. The standout however was the newcomer Clare-Hope **** who gave Seven Seconds it's soulful center with her great performance as Prosecutor KJ Harper. Outstanding acting, however, could not save the show from, at times, a plodding pace. Overall, though, well worth binging if you are ever snowed in one weekend. Good popcorn fare. Expand

This is a solid drama that reflects and brings out into the open inner city problems with gangs and crooked cops. Brilliant acting, great cast. Most of the time you are just glued to the screen.
