This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Jason Momoa is doing his normal thing, which is good, but aside from that everything from the premise to the execution of the entire show is ridiculous. The story and core idea would perhaps work in a book format, but definitely not as a tv show.
I very much doubt this will be picked up for a second season.

In addition "Haniwa", who is one of the main characters and whom the story revolves around, is one of the most genuinely unlikeable and annoying characters ever put to film.

I would have given a 6 but as many valued 0 I chose an 8. There is an original idea that should be rewarded. And I liked some characters (shadow!). Off course it could improve a lot if it wants to survive the axe

More rediculous than you could ever predict. Low budget college film vibe with acting to match. Laughable storyline on the verge of cringe comedy. Second season signed. Comments disabled due to bad reviews. Has Apples name all over it.

You must pay to avoid watching this Show. By far the worst tv show of the last decade. I just laughed when Apple disabled the comment due to reviews. It's Apple what do you expect!?

I had very low expectations after the initial reviews and am so glad that I decided to check it out. Watched all the episodes and would have loved to binge watch the entire season. It is a very good post-apocalyptic scifi/fantasy show.

I am highly entertained by it so far and would recommend you watch it for yourself and then decide if it’s good or not rather than relying on critics’ reviews

I attended the premiere in L.A. and even as they were introducing it, I got the feeling that this was going to be an engineered and soulless product. One hour later, we were proven right.
Visually and production-design wise it is astounding, and in all fairness the actors are pretty good (even if Momoa's character feels like a rehash of some of his previous roles), but the story is just

The low rating of this show are quite surprising.
This shows definitely doesn't leave indifferent.
This post-apocalyptic world is violent but also beautiful. The depiction of a world of blind people is quite a challenge, and the result quite good. Some viewers may find unsettling or ridiculous this depiction of blindness, but blindness is probably not depicted often enough in movies

After the first 3 episodes, I'm looking forward to watching the remaining of the first season.
The story and characters are quite compelling, and the cast very good.

I’m not sure why people hate this show. The production values are sky high and the script isn’t that bad. I’ll keep watching to see how it turns out.

Honestly ... I have no idea why people are crapping all over this? Maybe just because it's Apple and some people just love to hate Apple. Disney too btw.
I am really enjoying SEE. It's a bit like Into The Badlands, but with less Kung Fu and better thought out. I really love all the quirky things they invented specifically for the visually impaired.

It's got it's weak and slow points, but it's got some competent actors, good production and some good lore ideas. I think this show will mature as the writers flesh the world out.

My main issue really is with the brother of the two main witches. He's not very good. They should kill him off.

Im not getting all the hate here. Its an original premise with a fully fledged world. Im beginning to think that the critics, normally out of touch with audiences, have just picked this to be some sort of whipping post. Or they cant deal with an original series that doesnt have zombies or a dark political plotline.

See is a well-imagined world with its own rules and lore. It looks amazing

See is a well-imagined world with its own rules and lore. It looks amazing and while there are some goofy parts, the characters and plot are rich. There are some truly tense moments (the battle scene on the river as they attempt escape for example), and Im truly invested in these characters. I dont get the hate from.critics and I have to attribute it to their lack of love for sci-fi, because anyone who does love it, will find something redeeming in See.

You are critics without criticism, bad, your criticisms are flawed, you should change every month who does that job. The series is great and the premise of that world is not impossible. The series is good and the story has a lot of meaning.

This show was thrilling, exciting and fun to be a part of. I thought it was so creative and slowly manifests a fear of what life 'could be'. It's not socially acceptable anymore to want to watch "beautiful cast members" but as an audience member to this, I was smitten by them all. Season 2 can't get here fast enough.

I think a lot more recently it is becoming more evident that reviewer’s are kind of out of touch and by reviewers I mean those who do it professionally. The scenery is great and the storyline overall isn’t bad it’s enough to have me coming back and watching new episodes

Original idea (this time for sure), beautiful world, direction, nice script, not stupid dialogs, charactrers you care about, inventing action. If you completly tired from all of those social problems-highlight on evey step in everything, If you want to plunge into exciting story, then you will SEE something worthful.

I think it's the wrong medium. As a book an imaginative author could turn this idea into a goldmine of fun and originality.
But on a TV screen this looks weird and unrealistic. Not to mention that we've seen a tonne of various fantasy series with all kinds of "chosen ones". This is exactly the same with a lot of hand waving and people pretending to listen.

An interesting idea for a show, but for a season? I found myself losing interest by the end of the first show. There wasn't enough to keep me going. So admittedly, I've only seen the first show and I can't believe this could be renewed already for season 2. This wasn't for me.

This is a horrible show, I was so depressed, I quit after about 10 minutes into the first episode. Jason M is a great star but needs to go finish Frontier which was not renewed. Frontier was a great show with wonderful cast and stars. But this one is for the birds.
    Ugh

    See (season 1)

See is a creation of a new reality and world of its own, one that's almost entirely devoid of the logic we're used to. The pacing can sometimes be slow and boring, and it's littered with filler moments but the cast's execution was a delight to behold, especially Jason Momoa and Sylvia Hoeks.
If you can throw away logic and ignore the inconsistencies, it's an entertaining series.

See (Apple TV+) is undeniably ravishing. It is also dreary, hysterical and often simply inept. A song of cripes and dire, if you will.

“See” is a gorgeously filmed series, and props are due to director Francis Lawrence for making the most its British Columbia settings. There’s also just enough fodder for thought in its exploration of how the massive scale elimination of a sense humans take for granted might, indeed, change the world. However – and yes, go ahead and call me a sensitive snowflake for this – there’s something profoundly ableist in the proposal that blind people would, in the span of a few generations, somehow forget that the sun is a big ball of flaming gas and start talking like Lothar of the Hill People.
