Very funny adult animation.
Surreal and shock comedy, mockery of classic 1970's animated children's series.
A MEME before MEMES, filled with absurdist humour and pop culture easter eggs. Some episodes are a little boring but overall it's aVery funny adult animation.

I wasn't familiar with original cartoon (Sealab 2020) but I still ejony the show.

I know. It's 2021! HBO Max announced they will air the Brilliant and OG Adult Swim Toon masterpiece, Sealab 2021! I'm Amped!
Sure, I've seen every episode and can quote the entire series, but damn, it's funny, smart, original, blink and youI know. It's 2021! HBO Max announced they will air the Brilliant and OG Adult Swim Toon masterpiece, Sealab 2021! I'm Amped!
Sure, I've seen every episode and can quote the entire series, but damn, it's funny, smart, original, blink and you miss it & although I said it, it's really, really funny! One of the Four OG Williams Street Adult Swim Creations, after the HBO announcement, and as per usual on Twitter, everyone already hopped on the bandwagon. If you've never seen it, join them!

A nod to the groundbreaking pinnacle of Toons that is AS, Williams Street & ☠️ & 7030 the production teams behind this/these Hannah Barbara-remixes (3:4 of these Toons share this lynchpin, the fourth dropping a quasi-Pilot on the First One) It's the randomness, witty dialogue, über-nonPC & helps to be well-read/aware of current events & History, not offended by everything (seriously, it's a cartoon! Laugh) type of humour that makes Sealab 2021 & these Toons timeless. They did it without trying too hard (i.e. Tim & Eric) and trying again after failing! Gotta love that American Spirit!

Although the loss of THAT Voice (RIP Goz) kinda hurts & interrupted the flow after the "Blank" Season, the show maintained the fresh and crazy AF humour associated with the other OG Toons. IOW, it's not something most should notice & most won't.

However, the downpour of New-Jacks trying to drop memes without fully grasping how monumental this, the other Toons & the creation of AS in general truly was and meant to Modern Animated Comedy remains a topic of debate so many years later. Adult Swim. It shaped a generation!
And speaking of Memes, can we cite "Bumps"?

Ditto to the asinine "Is Frisky Dingo based on Archer?" questions appearing on every S. Media platform since FX Launched it. Frisky is another gem. Why am I including it? Well, because I can. And 7030 (it's the work share % divided between the two) Productions were the driving force behind Sealab 2021, Frisky Dingo, The (don't wanna spoil the surprise) and later, Archer although they changed the production Biz name and Xander because Archer, with a new voice, one traced back to the other OG Shows; appearing in the first episode & additional runs including a live version episode of ATHF et al., post-Dr. K., H. Movies and most AS Toons before he started Flipping Burgers & hanging on FX. You'll catch the references to the other Rooms if you're an OG or you're lazy & search the internet.
Everything is connected in the Cartoon Multi-Verse! As always, Dr Fermi was Right! Hell, most think Glip Glops started with R & M!
They did Not. Respect to the Late-Zev Love X, AKA MF DOOM. Yep, he's also connected.

Oh yeah, the theme song is one of the best ever. Not kidding! (I don't Joke About Toons, Tunes & Chelsea FC.)
