    Unbelievably Cheezy? Of course, but that just makes Saved By The Bell all the more enjoyable. It's a show for young people, so if you aren't young or were young like myself when it was on, don't watch it, you will probably hate it. For anyone alive at the time, Saved By The Bell was a terrific show for people our age. It presented every problem that being a teenager could honestly haveUnbelievably Cheezy? Of course, but that just makes Saved By The Bell all the more enjoyable. It's a show for young people, so if you aren't young or were young like myself when it was on, don't watch it, you will probably hate it. For anyone alive at the time, Saved By The Bell was a terrific show for people our age. It presented every problem that being a teenager could honestly have (besides anything with sex, because apparently the folks at NBC don't have sex), and wrapped it up with a great dose of humour, some loveable characters and warm, feel good kind of effect. Looking back on it today, it's unbelievably dated. Not only the fashion, slang, and pop culture references, but just the overall presence is has. Is that bad? Of course not, if you're watching Saved By The Bell now you're almost certainly somehow just looking for some nostalgic memories, and Saved By The Bell sure brings them back. Some of the dated references are actually hilarious now aswell, like girls fantasizing over Michael Jackson, or two guys going to a George Michael concert together. Saved By The Bell may seem silly now, but it's gotten funnier with age and I think that helps it. It may seem more important for us now to watch all our favourite HBO dramas and highclass television, but if you want to go back to a time when life was simpler, clothes were brighter, and every guy had a crush on Kelly Kapowski, put in Saved By The Bell, it won't fail.… Expand

    Saved by the Bell is, to be honest, a fairly bad show. However, it's the kind of bad you can really enjoy. The jokes are corny, the drama is over-exaggerated yet flat, and the characters are pretty annoying, but, if you've got a good sense of humor, it can be pretty easy to make it into a comedy gold festival if you start watching it expecting it to be terrible in the first place.

    Saved by the Bell has always had a cheesy kind of charm to it and as a result its gone on to become a bit of a cult favourite over the years but, once you remove the nostalgia factor, its a pretty average show in all honesty with very few jokes that are genuinely funny.
