A heartwarming documentary with a cast of unique and talented characters. Some of the critics have complained about David Beckham's 'lack of charisma' in the series; but, in reality, he takes a back seat in this documentary and allows theA heartwarming documentary with a cast of unique and talented characters. Some of the critics have complained about David Beckham's 'lack of charisma' in the series; but, in reality, he takes a back seat in this documentary and allows the light to shine on a group of amazing young footballers and their two coaches. Edited, his words may come across as 'clichéd' in some scenes, but there is no doubt about his emotional commitment to the project and to the boys on the team, and certainly no doubt about his joy at watching them open up and grow both on and off the pitch.
