Incredibly funny, smart and with a lot of meta Humor. One of the best shows in the Planet.

The entire special feels a little rushed, like it was thrown together last minute. Though I find Sarah Cooper extremely funny, it felt like too much time was given to guest stars who were mostly meh. Also, the inclusion of a background storyline tried too hard to be topical, and just wound up being tedious. Also, the inclusion of a background storyline tried too hard to be topical, and just wound up being tedious. Sarah Cooper is best when she's doing non-sequitur sketches like the Parking Lot Magician and the Mar-a-lago sketch. Or, of course, when she's doing the Trump voice-overs that made her famous. Would love to see more from her, though! Perhaps something that focuses more on the comedian herself! Expand

Gonzo comedy special. I'm not big on stand up or sketch comedy specials, but this one pulled me in right out of the gate due to it's bananapants in your face hysterics. I dug it .... for the first 30-40 minutes, but after that it just kinda dragged in the "I got the joke" sort of way, so it gets a solid 7

The in-between moments of banter between her and Armisen generate some of the special’s funniest lines and make a strong case for an entire season-long show just to see the two of them play off of each other more. What the special could have done without are the Trump lip syncs.

Here’s to hoping our and Sarah Cooper’s “tomorrow” is better than today, and that Cooper lands a third act to a career that has flourished, online, this year, after being off the radar for too long before we found her.

She demonstrates what her comedic taste really is—and it’s somewhat surprising to learn that it’s deeply weird. It’s also invigorating to watch. Although Cooper does lip-synch to Trump in some segments, the best material in Everything’s Fine brings to mind Adult Swim programming, fever-dream-like productions that make just enough sense to keep you mesmerized.
