    It's a good relaxing, thought provoking series, with interesting twists, and the main point is that it gives hope about human kind that we are good in deep all among the mess on the surface. I can write that it not so well constructed or litle messy, but it still has the most important thing to give some value. If you can't see pay more attention ;)

    I loved this show. I thought the acting was great. It had great plot twists. The uncle and the cult story line wasn't awesome, but the rest of it was a solid 10

    Still overly complicated, unbelievable, and hard to follow. This show would not survive during the regular season. This is an overdone movie premise whose twisted plot lines move at a painfully slow pace when translated to a tv series format. The story has to end soon after the asteroid event occurs. I find my interest in the outcome has been taxed beyond my ability to care anymore.

    The first season of this was totally forgettable but enjoyable trash. but another season has proved to be too much for me. Its jumped the shark with the amount of unbelievable and overly convoluted story lines so clearly slotted in here there and everywhere to bulk out the season to the required episode count. Its frustrating how little the issue of the massive asteroid coming to destroy the earth appears to be of concern to most of the characters most of the time. Its a shame as the premise of an asteroid coming to destroy earth is a compelling one but as this show proves probably one better left for a movie or mini series than an full length TV show… Expand

    Season one was mildly entertaining but season two went completely off the rails and science fiction went to science fantasy and unbelievable as well. Lets hope there's no season three.

    season 1 was somewhat decent-ish, but second season, it just went off the rails, one of the characters in particular is quite annoying - Grace... boy she does get around doesn't she! this is great for background noise and nothing more.

    The first season was enjoyable TV mush. It had enough 'science' to make it plausible but Season 2 went off like a poorly prepared railgun. Storylines that are based on a 'countdown' always struggle and need to be well-planned before starting out otherwise they will just solar sail wherever the neutrino stream (ie bad writing) takes them. If you don't know how long the series is going to be then the story arc has to be adaptable. The ending was a massive disappointment (is that a spoiler?). It was as though the writers had no idea how to stop, so they just put their pens down and walked away (probably became American President for the day, everyone's doing it). There were too many anti-climaxes where they had built everything up to a dramatic point and then just undid it all and moved onto something else. I thought the cast did a really good job with some VERY average writing, and there were times when I don't know how they didn't just break down in fits of laughter at the nonsense they were asked to say. I also thought that in all the episodes they struggled to fill, they didn't explore the eternal question "what would you do if you knew there was no tomorrow". I didn't think that was sensibly discussed, because just too many people in this show wanted to shoot, kill, and drop bombs all in the name of not ending the world (which made no sense). I mean, "Save the world and everyone from dying, my way, or I will kill you all" doesn't really sound like a well-balanced argument. I don't think violence is the only answer, nor is it the only emotion available to fill the script pages. A little (hmm..maybe a lot) more thought should have gone into character and storyline development. (BTW, what was Uncle Nick's accent? He sounded like a drunk Australian Canadian Mexican New Zealander.... really annoying).… Expand
