It’s a series that’s sweet, but never saccharine, a difficult distinction for similar shows to draw.

Daniel McCallum and his best friend Emma find themselves in Rosehaven for different reasons. Daniel to help his mother with her real estate business, and Emma initially arrives after being jilted on her honeymoon. Much of the humor is in Daniel's desire to confront childhood bullies, small town oddballs, and the way Daniel and Emma relate to each other and the residents of Rosehaven. Stars and creators Luke McGregor and Celia Pacquola have a great rapport, and because they are decidedly best friends there is no romantic tension to water down the sweet natured teasing of their relationship. I really loved both seasons of this show, and I hope there will be more. Full Review »
