Jan 11, 2017After watching two episodes of this program I took it off my “DVR List” because I found the acting to be very stilted, especially from the lead character. As for the episodes, they are mediocre at best.

Feb 1, 2017I could not agree more with everything that my fellow 'metacritics' say about this less than average show EXCEPT nobody has mentioned the unbelievably dreadful soundtrack. If you're not sure what it sounds like have a quick listen, it, on its own, was enough for us to delete after only 2 episodes.

Apr 16, 2017Enjoy this show quite a bit. Like the characters interaction too. I can understand some of the low ratings reviews but feel some folks don't give the more intelligent shows a chance.

Jan 21, 2017Another incredibly stupid show from CBS. They've got that formula perfected. Stupid story lines, stupid writing, really cute actors for a stupid audience.
-
Jun 18, 2017The background mood music is very off putting ,hard to concentrate on the plots due to the constant music sounds.Early days to tell whether it,s a stayer but get rid of that awful background music and it may have a chance.

Jun 20, 2017ethic series
I write from Germany. Some friends and me love this series: all of it, the content, the actors, the idea of nonviolence. We need a world with people as they are shown in Mr. Beaumonts team. Continue please! -
Jan 13, 2018Shows the truth about how it could really work. Follows the leads and but the end of the show you are glad that there are people out there that really does this.

Jul 3, 2018I enjoy the show, I like the actors and the storyline it is believable. I would like to see more seasons, I don't find to many shows I enjoy watching, after awhile I am ready for them to be over. I not sure putting a new show on Saturday nights in the spring and summer was the best ideal.
-
Mostly it's just an even more egregiously boring version of all the other CBS police procedurals with their cookie-cutter characters and plots.
-
For what it is--something serviceable to fit in CBS’s Saturday lineup--Ransom will do, but pretty much is a square peg fitting in a square hole.
-
There are likely to be more to come on a network that only occasionally fails to keep its crime hours in play for multiple seasons. Ransom is easier to take than some of them, and with a hero who doesn’t have to brandish a gun to get the job done.
