    The casting directors have found edgier contestants (one admits he’s only there because he has a gambling problem). Host Dolph Lund­gren alternately rags on the contestants or riffs.

    Overall the show lacks a certain spark. Pacing is also an issue: The show feels both too long and too short

    Rather than three shows, one show would be best: Make The Rock the host, use the settings of "72 Hours" and the casting of Race to the Scene and viewers would be much better off than watching any of these individual new programs.
