    Netflix and Jada Smith, along with every other lowlife managed to spit on historical facts and cultures of Egypt and Greece by blackwashing one of the most famous rulers in history.

    I don`t understand how they thought this could possibly be a good idea ???

    This rewriting of history and black-washing other people's culture is shameless and outrageous to say the least. That aside, it still looks cheap and screams mediocrity devoid of any real substance. In short it's trash that reeks of racism and cultural appropriation.

    A poor, racist attempt at blackwashing factual history. Sources pointing from "dude trust me" to something someone's racist grandma said. Offensive, poorly made, and in bad taste. Everyone involved in this should be ashamed. Revising other races' history to push an afrocentric agenda nonsense must end.

The insane amount of historical falsification and racism towards Egyptians in this “documentary” is unbelievable and as an Egyptian I will not stand by a group of people trying to steal my history and strip Egyptians out of their identity in the name of diversity.     Im no expert on Cleopatra but man even I see the historical inaccuracies (and I dont mean the race swapping).
    Acting is not great, the sets look like they were made 2min before shooting. How do you take someone from history who was known to be smart and using her female attributes to her    Claims to be a documentary, is written and acted like a really bad soap opera from the 30s.

    If I was or Northern African heritage I would be pi**ed.
    If I was of Macedonian/greek heritage I would be pi**ed.
    Historically inaccurate and misleading where's the fact checkers on this one. Don't watch this garbage. Don't know how they are allowed to call it a DOCUMENTARY it's falsifying history and should be removed.

    Obviously it can’t be serious historians (although it has serious historians in it) because they don’t need key moments acted out by thespians hamming it up like an episode of Tracy Beaker. Then again it has too many clever talking heads to please those who like history served up like Carry On Cleo.

    Though we liked the experts that were interviewed for Queen Cleopatra, as well as Adele James’ performance as the famous queen, the dramatic sequences leave too much to be desired to keep us from just reading about Cleopatra online to get the information we want.

    Despite having to vacillate between descriptions of her subject as a politician, a seductress and a warrior, James manages to excel in each. She brings intelligence and nuance to a performance that is strikingly better than what surrounds her.
