    I learned so much from this documentary. Cleopatra seemed like a fantastic woman!! this is very entertaining!

    i think giving a tv show 0 is just lazy. It is coherent and reasonably well produced. As history it hsa absolutely no value. But there are some people who might enjoy it and find it uplifting or entertaining or something.

    I almost never write reviews. This one forced me to. I want my time back i wasted watching this. I cannot believe this even made it far enough to be streamed to anyone. Instead of any historical accuracy they made an interpretation of an actual documented historical figure to satisfy some directors woke fantasy . Bad writing,even worst acting. Boring and badly directed and produced tripe.I almost never write reviews. This one forced me to. I want my time back i wasted watching this.     Instead of showing the beauty and complexity of Egyptian culture, the series seems more interested in imposing a stereotypical and false view of Egyptians. Furthermore, the series blatantly promotes blackwashing, and uses its platform to impose a biased and supremacist version of African-American culture, overriding and stealing history and culture from other parts of the world. The series purports to be a tribute to Egyptian culture, but in reality is an insult to its legacy and an affront to historical truth. It is a shame that Netflix allowed this series to be released, and it is even sadder that there are people who watch it and promote it as a positive thing.
    It is also important to note that the series promotes the false and racist idea that Cleopatra was a black woman. This theory has no historical backing, and has been debunked by numerous historians and archaeologists. The attempt to impose this false and biased version of history is another example of how the series seeks to eliminate Egyptian culture and race in favor of a biased and supremacist view of African-American culture. Because according to Hollywood and the woke racial supremacists, the fact that you are Latino or African immediately makes you black, and now they think they have the right to order you how to think about YOUR race and YOUR culture, they do it to Latinos with terms like "Latinx", it's a racist term invented to make American wokes with a 0.0000001% Latino percentage feel Latino like Jenna Ortega. This my friends, is called COLONIALISM.
    If you say all of Africa is black, regardless of the evidence of multiraciality on that continent, what is the difference between a white supremacist KKK to a liberal woke? None, they just change the color of a disgustingly supremacist speech.
    It's a shame that the hypothetical Netflix documentary was produced and released. The series is an example of how certain individuals and groups in the Western world, particularly left wing liberal woke in America, can appropriate other cultures and impose their caricatured and false version of them. Instead of respecting and honoring Egypt's rich history and culture, the series seeks to impose a biased and false view of it, and to degrade and reduce Egyptian culture to a racist, colonialist and simplistic stereotype.
    It should be noted that the producers and creators of the series seem to be completely ignorant of Egyptian history and culture. They are apparently more interested in promoting their own political agenda, rather than educating and entertaining their audience in an accurate and responsible manner.     The lack of character, and professionalism from EVERY single cast member of this show, makes one WORST shows ever filmed, the plot is bland, tasteless, the story is linear without any sense of progression, it lacks everything, and remarks in absolutely nothing, I wish I could have my time back, it was a waste of time and a waste of money.

    Obviously it can’t be serious historians (although it has serious historians in it) because they don’t need key moments acted out by thespians hamming it up like an episode of Tracy Beaker. Then again it has too many clever talking heads to please those who like history served up like Carry On Cleo.

    Though we liked the experts that were interviewed for Queen Cleopatra, as well as Adele James’ performance as the famous queen, the dramatic sequences leave too much to be desired to keep us from just reading about Cleopatra online to get the information we want.
