    As with any anthology series consisting of largely stand-alone episodes the quality of the writing and story-lines varies from week to weekAs with any anthology series consisting of largely stand-alone episodes the quality of the writing and story-lines varies from week to week but overall Quantum Leap managed to maintain consistently high standards throughout the twenty-two episodes on offer during this second season. Personal favourites of mine include "The Americanization of Machiko" and its portrayal of American and Japanese relationships following WWII and "Jimmy" in which Sam leaps into a young man with Down syndrome and has to deal with the negative attitudes towards those with disabilities in the 1960's.… Full Review »
