Coming off severely undercooked the 1st season of this polarizing show holds so much potential it hasn't articulated yet. The storytelling is lazy, the punchlines underwhelming and nothing idiosyncratic to at least hold the show together. IComing off severely undercooked the 1st season of this polarizing show holds so much potential it hasn't articulated yet. The storytelling is lazy, the punchlines underwhelming and nothing idiosyncratic to at least hold the show together. I have high hopes for the show if it can get a better writing room to take a strong premise to where it deserves to be. Expand

Ma fille fluide non binaire avec des poils sous les bras, adore ! Elle regarde tous les matins avec son petit frère asexué avec des plumes dans le fondement. Merci Netflix !

I honestly really enjoyed this series, as a gay man, and as a person who likes animated shows.
I really it gets renewed for a new season.

Great show. Funny, the puns are great, making fun of gay culture and other things in the world as well. Cleverly written and acted.

I can't claim to belong to the LGBT+ community so I can't judge the show on that end. I thought I was going to find this show incredibly cringey, and to be honest, there are some moments that I get that, but over all I do find the show funny.

This was a really fun, campy show that I absolutely enjoyed.

Having a series that was co-created by, and largely voiced by, the queer community that plays with queer stereotypes was very enjoyable to watch. On top of that, there's a solid storyline and good themes centred around how hard queer people have to work to be seen as just as good as anyone else.

I've seen some reviews which point out dated references, but I highly enjoyed a lot of these. The season long call back to The Princess Diaries was hilarious and very on note for me - pop culture memory in the queer community is LONG and I loved that not every reference used was day and date to today.

There are certainly some things to be worked out, would like to see more of our community's diversity and I think there's some character stuff to work out (Twink in particular I found jumped between being a very funny character in the vein of a Roger the Alien or a Pam from Archer, and a bit of a miss - they should go all in on the gay twink version of Pam!) but this was a really solid outing (wink) and I hope to see a second season where it can keep growing an maturing.

It's not. The writing is decent, the plots are acceptable the voice actors are amazing. Even the animation is ok.

I was not sure what to expect but after i realized Sean Hayes was producer and lead, I watched it and rather liked it. Yea, it's a bit on the PC side, and some of the full frontal scenes we found funny but definitely adult oriented, but i didn’t feel like i was watching something that was bending over backwards to pander. Overall enjoyable. I hope it gets a second season.
