    Having found it's legs by the end of the last season, this one is running smoothly. Psych is probably the funniest mystery comedy there is.Having found it's legs by the end of the last season, this one is running smoothly. Psych is probably the funniest mystery comedy there is. (Not that there's a large amount of competition.) Lead Sean Spencer (James Roday) is such a delightfully, nonchalant wisecracker.

    The writers have found the right spot character-wise for Detective Lassiter. They toned down his outright distaste for Shawn's working on his cases and made him more of a quirky, grump. However, I'm sick to death of the subplot of the broken relationship with his wife. It goes nowhere and adds nothing.
