Very impressive work done by young people. Very much the same as the other Project Runway shows but not as serious/stressful as the adult seasons. They do hold these young people up to the same standards though which is great to see.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have always loved to sew, crochet, knit, loom, all of it! When I watched the first episode of Project Runway Junior, I fell in love and was immediately inspired. Not only are the designs alone are beautifully crafted, but also the young ages of the contestants is encouraging. Their talent, ambition, and work ethic is not seen in many people in today's society, regardless of age. The contestants and their attitude is a refreshing change of scenery compared to other competitive reality television shows. The dialogue is original, hilarious, and creates a mood in the viewer that does not fill them with the negative feelings the overused, drama-filled scenes one tends to see in other shows. While all of the designers create looks that are all unique, I am sad to see two very innovative creators have to leave the show at the end of the challenge in episode seven. Their responses to their loss are admirable and show how they have learned from the opportunity. Expand

If you like Project Runway, you'll like Project Runway: Junior. If the long-running reality competition isn't for you, you probably can just move along.
