This time the prison is located in Panama and while this third season never quite recaptures the quality of the first it certainly heralds a slight return to form. For me the main problem in this second escape attempt is that Michaels escape from Fox River took a huge amount of pre-planning to accomplish, it seems unlikely he could repeat this feat so readily. Despite the tense storyline and interesting characters it is not always as easy to suspend ones disbelief once again.
