Season 2 ditches the prison setting and places our characters on the run. The scope of the plot has been wildly increased. New characters round out the cast each with their own motivations. We get a very grand game of cat and mouse.

Just like last season the show is always keeping you on the edge of your seat. Shocking character deaths and big moments that change the pace for the rest of the season pop up regularly. The big risks it takes make for a more tense and enjoyable season overall.

While the tense, tight, and dangerous corridors of the prison are missed, the writers show that they can keep viewers interested and fearing for their favorite characters even with a bigger playground. It's an expansion and improvement on what was an already excellent show.

    I give season 2 a near-perfect score of 9.9/10.

Best show ever made (after LOST)! Absolutely amazing, best acting, storyline, or plot ever. I don't know one thing wrong with the show because it is the best ever (after LOST) !

I was introduced to Prison Break by my Korean wife. She loves the show & it is very popular there. I thought Season 1 was pretty good. Season 2 is not as good in my opinion. I tried to just enjoy the season but there are a couple things that are too ridiculous i.e. Sucre riding a motorcycle from NY to Vegas in a matter of a couple days. The first season was definitely better, but the second is not bad. Fans of Prison Break will not be disappointed: just want to see the third season...

The first season of Prison Break was a breath of fresh air in the ever repetitive TV schedules with edge of your seat moments every episode and this second season starts in much the same vein.

We initially follow the exploits of each of the escaped convicts and are introduced to the ingenious methods of FBI Agent Mahone who is tasked with capturing them. Unusually for a TV show Agent

Unusually for a TV show Agent Mahone is every bit the equal of the main star Micheal Schofield and this makes for some excellent television.

Unfortunately as the series progresses we become more and more wrapped up in the slightly dull conspiracy behind Lincolns original imprisonment and we start to lose what made the first series so entertaining and so different to everything else on TV. It seems as though outside the prison walls Prison Break is just not the same show.

The first season was more exciting and tense, but "Prison Break: Season 2" is still filled with mysteries, chases and action. If you liked the first season, you should definitely check out Season 2 as well.

Prison Break series 2 starts off precisely from series 1, almost as if it was an extension. This means that the impact is direct and relevant to the first series, but instead of a prison it's now external and open environments. This immediately creates more interest and intrigue than the previous series, and there are a lot of questions that are answered. There is more content and the story progression is faster, which is a positive change from series 1. However the plot itself seemed somewhat dull at times, even if it was relevant.

This is largely caused by a sense that it was combining many mini stories and time framing them so that they fit every episode. This made many of them cheesier than they should be, and often just sank into indulgences which rarely became anything more then moderately interesting side stories. However the concepts and characterisations are greater than ever, and the complex nature of a prison escape comes flowing with liquid tension, and at all times it grips you with an curious state of empathy.

The second season was a drag. It shouldn't have been there as it wasted a lot of episodes or in short an entire season. The entire second season should have been summed up in four to five episodes. Overall, it didn't bore me at least.

Just as tense as the first season! Great new additions to the cast made the second season stand out as something different from the first. Story and characters stayed just as exciting and nothing felt forced. Great season.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Prison Break returned with a surprisingly better storyline . I really enjoyed the debuting Alex Mahone, an improvement over brad bellic in season 1. T-Bag is still crazier than ever, Abruzzi and Veronica take an early exit. and Scofield, Burrows and the rest of the escapees are on the run. Expand

This film noir portrait of corruption and morally-compromised obsessions stars Welles as Hank Quinlan, a crooked police chief who frames a Mexican youth as part of an intricate criminal plot. Charlton Heston plays an honorable Mexican narcotics investigator who clashes with the bigoted Quinlan after probing into his dark past. A memorable
