    Brilliant and most addictive. One of the Best series ever. For quite some time I only liked CSI, but I am sick of it now, and the fact that there are so many similar series. This one though is welcomed fresh air. I hope the good work lasts

    i love this show!!!! not only do you have a hunk (wentworth miller) to stare at, but like a book(a great page turner), its great show that has me at the edge of my seat ever episode!

    This show is amazing! Ever character is interesting, diverse and intriguing! And the dark comedy that comes through with the interactions between the characters is thrilling to watch! My favourite character is T-Bag!

    This is one of my favorite shows. It has been a little uneven recently, but the first part of the series was so incredibly compelling and I am now too invested in the characters to walk away. I trust it will get back on track.

    prison break is the bst show ever. im so hooked and dnt no wot i will do when its finished. wentworth miller is so fit and all of the characters are great. especially michael and lincoln.

    While I agree with some comments that lament over the fact that truly great shows like Arrested Development are getting cancelled, you have to admit that this is one entertaining and exciting show, no matter how perdicatable or cliche the cliff hangers are.

    This show has had my FULL ATTENTION since episode 1. Besides being creative and daring, the characters are well developed, and the scenery is awesome. I will never be on the "inside" so I am very intrigued by the inside of prisons, and I am interested in the chase outside as well. Everyone is commenting on how irrelevant it is to see what happens now that they broke out---instead of This show has had my FULL ATTENTION since episode 1. As for the "idiot" prison guards everyone is ranting about, there are tons of examples in reality about brilliant criminals cheating the system that imprisons them. It seems pretty real to me. I enjoy watching an entire cast of GREAT LOOKING men as well. It's downright steamy, and anyone who can't see at least THAT, needs to change the channel and find some negative news channel to duel their negativity!     This is my favorite show on TV right now. It is suspenseful, intriguing, and so much more. There isn't a better show out there. These critics are being really harsh and don't appreciate this show for what it is, an unpredictable thrill ride. I can't wait for seasaon 3!!

    The best ever suspense thriller i have seen.... movies are different but suspense molded into series and keeping that same momentum and some time even better is a tough job.... I appreciate the prison break team and hope this series goes on and it remains interesting as it is now.

The suspense that holds until the last minute in every season is too good and it was really exciting to wait too.Of all the season i liked Season 2 where they try to escape from Fox river.I think Paul T. Scheuring has done a good job upto up to SEASON 4 22nd episode and then he gives a twist in Season4 I enjoyed it pity much at high levels and its one of the best serials i have ever seen.     Any reviewer who gave this less than at least 80/100 needs to find themselves a different career. This is gripping stuff, brilliant acting, interesting characters, occasionally predictable but regardless it leaves you wanting more.... More.... MORE!!

    Love this Show! It's full of suspense and i just cant get enough of it! it keeps you guessing and it has action, romance and Michael (wentworth) seems to amaze me every time with his intelligence.

    I watched all episodes. I can't believe anyone would hate on this show. The acting, the plot, the characters, even the theme song is just genius. The T-Bag character is just, wow.

    Trixie give it a 10, this is the first show in a long time that is so intense that it keeps you on the edge of your seat. This show may not last a long time but while it does I am sure there will always be surprises.

    Best thing since sliced bread. Probably better. It is literally the only show that I watch, and I have to unfortunately watch the DVD series because I work 2nd shift and can't always see it.

    Prison Break is the best thing that has happened to television for a long time.Unlike many other series a lot of intellect,heart,dedication of crew and talents,and heart was put into the show and it cannot be copared to any other show.

    Even better then the first five seasons of 24. Great cast. Great plot and suspence. Outstanding. My brother told me the third season was not quite as good as the first two, but it was still good. He looks forward and I do to watching Season Four, which I hope is not the last season. I love all of the characters. See this show!!!!!!

    This is one of the most creative shows ou there and it helps that it was very well directed. This television show is feature length film quality and then some. I've been hooked since I first watched it Im im always the first to criticize tv shows and movies. Cant Get enough of Prison Break!

    The first season is the best! Too bad it had to end. The 2nd and 3rd season weren't as good as the first one. But, again the third one was brilliant. It might have been a little too much in the last season. But, still the series deserves a perfect 10.

    A massive first season with 22 episodes. Thankfully Prison Break makes the most out of every one of them. The hits just keep coming as new problems are introduced in episode. It keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat and refuses to let up. However none of that would matter if the characters and writing weren't good. Luckily this show knocks them both out of the park.

    The prison setting is just great. The writers don't cover up or tone down any of the horrible things that go on. There are dark moments every now and then. All of the cast give excellent performances. The cool thing about the show is that the story doesn't just take place behind the walls. The show is part political thriller. Betrayals, complications, and hidden agendas are found just as much outside of the prison as they are found inside. All of this is backed up by really intelligent writing.

    There's a surprising amount of things going on in it's world, and Prison Break excellently manages to keep track of them. Even more impressive is how it manages to do it while constantly adding new obstacles for the characters to overcome. The only downside is that every now and then the issues our leads have to deal with are concluded in predictable ways. You already know how the new issue is going to be wrapped up shortly after it takes place. Yet, despite that fact it never stopped me from hanging by a thread until it's conclusion. It's also just really interesting to watch the resourceful main character "Michael" (Wentworth Miller) overcome these issues.

    The planning that went into how these characters break out is just impressive. It's a show that keeps you just as interested in the core plot of the season as it does the overall grand scheme of things. If you are interested in an exciting thriller I highly recommend checking out Prison Break. It hits just about all of the right notes with this first season and I can't wait to see what comes next.    … Expand

    Favorite TV series and that's saying a lot. If you liked John Doe then this is basically him in prison. Was sad when the show ended which has never happened to me before.

I pay attention to details, and although his show has many fake parts, parts that are very unrealistic, and forced action and forced things that happen, it still is entertaining. I watched all 80 episodes. I would not necessarily recommend this, it is long, and only so/so. But it is not horrible. I have mixed reviews on it.     The first season of "Prison Break" is an exciting, thrilling TV show and has a tense and cliffhanging ending. It's got to have one of the most original ideas and is more intriguing than many other TV shows that I have watched. The only slight problem is that the dialogue doesn't live up to its brilliant plot.

    Acting true to its title, the story does featuring an intricate and insane plot to escape from a maximum security prison, but underlying this is a story based on brotherly bonds and commitments and how even the best thought out plans still require trust in strangers.

    In addition there is a secondary plot outside the prison where attempts are made to encourage a lawful pardon. This plot caters for the main antagonists who emerge from corrupt government agents. However it's all a little irreverent and contributes unnecessary running time.

    This adds to the issue of overexertion and repetition. The core storyline splits into two, but they don't share an equal interest and excitement. The tensions aren't mingling in together and it quickly becomes draining. This in itself is not a bad thing, if such draining is rewarded with progress in the plot, but it's not. The Series lingers on, sometimes hopelessly; it's too slow.

    However that doesn't mean that it is boring. The acting is ace and the dialogue is immersive. In addition there are a huge number of characters who have strong personalities that you will have time to make your concrete connections to them. The show is full of tense moments, which in addition to a very appropriate soundtrack and ambient audio, makes the realistic environments even more compelling.

    One would need to be more patient than an average individual. It starts off with a quick climb, but takes a long time to come down. If you can hold your nerve then there is a lot of potential here, and if you enjoy this then the other series are a must watch.    … Expand

    Prison Break is one of my favorite TV shows. I loved the concept, HATS OFF to the creators! The first season was the best, because it has that feel of looking at a person inside prison who is making plans for escape. No wonder it cannot be compared to "The Shawshank Redemption" but it still is outstanding.

Absolutely retarded guards that don't do anything and are straight up blind. First 12 episodes were relatively interesting but after that it's full retard mode. I think both shows are very entertaining and make you think a little.     Prison Break got me from the first episode and continued with a lot of suspense.
    A great show with an amazing plot, unique characters, and of course, a powerful and realistic setting. Even though the show starts to diminish a season by season, with the first season being absolutely the best, it still deserves the full score and will always be    One of the best shows I have ever seen.
    Prison Break got me from the first episode and continued with a lot of suspense.
    A great show with an amazing plot, unique characters, and of course, a powerful and realistic setting.

    As with "24," the whole enterprise, however action-packed, would fall flat if viewers didn't care about the characters, and "Prison Break" doesn't disappoint.
