    Love this show. It is absolutely gripping. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. You never expect what might happen next. Each show continues to build on the characters making it even more addictive. GREAT SHOW , GREAT CAST OF CHARACTERS! Each time I watch it I can't believe how it could possibly go on , and each time I say I will not continue to watch it again because the show is so Love this show. It is absolutely gripping.     Trixie give it a 10, this is the first show in a long time that is so intense that it keeps you on the edge of your seat. This show may not last a long time but while it does I am sure there will always be surprises.

    Best thing since sliced bread. Probably better. It is literally the only show that I watch, and I have to unfortunately watch the DVD series because I work 2nd shift and can't always see it.

    this storyline is so intersting you can never figure out the next plot. that's what i like in a tv show or movie one you want to end but hate that it ended like a good book the actors are incredible. i will be glad when the vice president gets her do hear that writers,

    Prison Break is the best thing that has happened to television for a long time.Unlike many other series a lot of intellect,heart,dedication of crew and talents,and heart was put into the show and it cannot be copared to any other show.

    Even better then the first five seasons of 24. Great cast. Great plot and suspence. Outstanding. My brother told me the third season was not quite as good as the first two, but it was still good. He looks forward and I do to watching Season Four, which I hope is not the last season. I love all of the characters. See this show!!!!!!

    This is one of the most creative shows ou there and it helps that it was very well directed. This television show is feature length film quality and then some. I've been hooked since I first watched it Im im always the first to criticize tv shows and movies. Cant Get enough of Prison Break!

    The first season is the best! Too bad it had to end. The 2nd and 3rd season weren't as good as the first one. But, again the third one was brilliant. It might have been a little too much in the last season. But, still the series deserves a perfect 10.

    Favorite TV series and that's saying a lot. If you liked John Doe then this is basically him in prison. Was sad when the show ended which has never happened to me before.

    Prison Break is the best tv series that I have ever seen. With a good mix of action, adventure, suspense, and emotion, I recommend this show to everyone. Once you start watching you wont be able to stop. It has been a while since it has aired but the show is available on Netflix. Again I recommend this show to everyone, you wont regret it.

    Watching this series I laugh when scofield laughs,I cry when he cries and all I wanted was to see those brothers happy.The plans they make and the way they execute keeps you on the edge of the seat.

    Prison Break is one of my favorite TV shows. I loved the concept, HATS OFF to the creators! The first season was the best, because it has that feel of looking at a person inside prison who is making plans for escape. No wonder it cannot be compared to "The Shawshank Redemption" but it still is outstanding.

    Oh how I miss this show being on the air! Awesome from the first Season all the way through to the very last one! Once you start you can't stop watching, it gets better and better!

    I can't believe that this show has such a low critic score... This show is absolutely amazing, whenever I reccomend shows to my friends who are bored and who have a Netflix account, the first two shows I say are, Prison Break and Breaking Bad. I think both shows are very entertaining and make you think a little. I didn't start watching this show til 2012, I can't imagine how pissed I wouldI can't believe that this show has such a low critic score...     As good as it gets! Season 1 was gripping and exciting, it had an original story and characters that dived straight into the action and wasted no time revealing the characters motivations.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is by far one of the best TV series of the past decade. The first season of prison break is incredible an easy 10/10. The second season is also an amazing work of film 9/10. The third season wasn't the best season because of the writers strike 6/10. The fourth seasons ending was a little shaky but still kept viewers on the edge of their seats 7/10. The reboot or fifth season was amazing, not as good as season 1 and 2 but can hold its own 8.5/10.     I love this show...the action is intense. The Atmosphere is a bit dark. No one really knows exactly what´s happening on the background etc. etc. It´s like Oz and 24 put together. And I happen to like the main character..it´s very different from many other series.

    This is my new favorite show - sorry "Lost." Yes, it's implausible, but that doesn't bother me at all. It's not supposed to be realistic just like a superhero comic book is not supposed to be realistic. You don't complain about how implausible it is for Superman to fly, you just accept it and enjoy it. The best parts of this show: the top-notch acting (especially This is my new favorite show - sorry "Lost." Yes, it's implausible, but that doesn't bother me at all. It's not supposed to be realistic just like a superhero comic book is not supposed to be realistic. You don't complain about how implausible it is for Superman to fly, you just accept it and enjoy it. The best parts of this show: the top-notch acting (especially Wentworth Miller) and the extremely entertaining and fast-paced plot. "Lost" is still my second-favorite show though. :)… Expand

The plot is ridiculous, the dialogue runs from adequate to laughable, and I can't recommend it to anybody that hasn't been watching from the beginning, but I haven't missed an episode. Who says a drama has to be believable? Who believes that all these bizarro medical cases keep showing up for Gregory House to solve? What's with the witches in Macbeth? Plus, the dialogue makes Prison Break more fun to watch with other people. All that said, though, by the end of this year, I hope they wrap it up, like they said they'd do.… Expand

    Brilliant and most addictive. One of the Best series ever. For quite some time I only liked CSI, but I am sick of it now, and the fact that there are so many similar series. This one though is welcomed fresh air. I hope the good work lasts

    This is one of my favorite shows. It has been a little uneven recently, but the first part of the series was so incredibly compelling and I am now too invested in the characters to walk away. I trust it will get back on track.

    While I agree with some comments that lament over the fact that truly great shows like Arrested Development are getting cancelled, you have to admit that this is one entertaining and exciting show, no matter how perdicatable or cliche the cliff hangers are.

The suspense that holds until the last minute in every season is too good and it was really exciting to wait too.Of all the season i liked Season 2 where they try to escape from Fox river.I think Paul T. Scheuring has done a good job upto up to SEASON 4 22nd episode and then he gives a twist in Season4 I enjoyed it pity much at high levels and its one of the best serials i have ever seen. The suspense that holds until the last minute in every season is too good and it was really exciting to wait too.Of all the season i liked Season 2 where they try to escape from Fox river.I think Paul T. Scheuring has done a good job upto up to SEASON 4 22nd episode and then he gives a twist in Season4 22nd episode killing Scofield which is the hardest thing to digest after all seeing these many episodes who is the main character and is responsible for all the other characters to survive.     A massive first season with 22 episodes. Thankfully Prison Break makes the most out of every one of them. The hits just keep coming as new problems are introduced in episode. It keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat and refuses to let up. However none of that would matter if the characters and writing weren't good. Luckily this show knocks them both out of the park.

    The prison setting is just great. The writers don't cover up or tone down any of the horrible things that go on. There are dark moments every now and then. All of the cast give excellent performances. The cool thing about the show is that the story doesn't just take place behind the walls. The show is part political thriller. Betrayals, complications, and hidden agendas are found just as much outside of the prison as they are found inside. All of this is backed up by really intelligent writing.

    There's a surprising amount of things going on in it's world, and Prison Break excellently manages to keep track of them. Even more impressive is how it manages to do it while constantly adding new obstacles for the characters to overcome. The only downside is that every now and then the issues our leads have to deal with are concluded in predictable ways. You already know how the new issue is going to be wrapped up shortly after it takes place. Yet, despite that fact it never stopped me from hanging by a thread until it's conclusion. It's also just really interesting to watch the resourceful main character "Michael" (Wentworth Miller) overcome these issues.

    The planning that went into how these characters break out is just impressive. It's a show that keeps you just as interested in the core plot of the season as it does the overall grand scheme of things. If you are interested in an exciting thriller I highly recommend checking out Prison Break. It hits just about all of the right notes with this first season and I can't wait to see what comes next.    … Expand

    I love this show I've seen it two times and the first time I breezed through it not feeling any problems and thinking to myself this is a 10/10 show but after waiting awhile longer and watching it a second time I found myself becoming less attached to these characters obviously knowing what would happen would do that but that's not how it happened. How it happened was in the times that they weren't showing Miller/Michael, they were showing Dominic's/Lincolns ex investigating the case looking for answers this became boring as I found a pattern of Michael would do something cool then you would haft to watch 15 minutes of Lincolns ex about how and I quote "This is to dangerous" "I don't know if I can do this" I am sure everyone was saying shut up! At that point but overall good plot very enjoyable first viewing second viewing you will realize it's flaws but they are not TV killers just minor nitpicks.… Expand

    Bought this s1 of Prison Break for my boyfriend and ended up getting totally hooked and rushing out to buy all remaining seasons. We tried to limit ourselves to just one Ep a night, but that proved almost impossible.

    The story is complex, but not that hard to follow, love the characters and there is some superb acting by Robert Knepper (tbag soooo creepy) and gotta love Wentworth    Bought this s1 of Prison Break for my boyfriend and ended up getting totally hooked and rushing out to buy all remaining seasons. We tried to limit ourselves to just one Ep a night, but that proved almost impossible.

    The story is complex, but not that hard to follow, love the characters and there is some superb acting by Robert Knepper (tbag soooo creepy) and gotta love Wentworth Miller and Sarah Wayne Callies and their chemistry.

    Every ep is a cliff hanger, so much so that when we didn't have time to watch the next ep we would at least watch the first 5 mins of the next one, so that the cliff hanger was resolved and we could focus on something else (like sleep).

    Only gave a 9 as seasons 3 and 4 aren't as good as the first two. LOVE IT.    … Expand

    This show is another great one, and has some good characters in it and not to mention good actors who portray their character perfectly. I know watching the show I grew to dislike two characters, and I'm sure many of you will as well. I was pretty disappointed that the show only ran 5 season because I thought that it was good and always interesting.     back in 2010 i walked in on my girlfriend watching this,she was on episode 8 and i caught the last 20 mins and was hooked so after begging several times she agreed for my sake that we can go back to episode 1 so i can catch up lol.

    great series and characters i give it a 9 as season 4 was well it could have been better

    I thought it would suffer in comparison to "OZ", but I was surprised at how much I'm enjoying it. The two main characters (the brothers) are played by tremendous actors, and the supporting characters are uniformly excellent. It seems like the series could be wrapped up at the end of each episode, giving you an amazing feel of immediacy. Sure, it's totally implausible, but I thought it would suffer in comparison to "OZ", but I was surprised at how much I'm enjoying it.     The first season of "Prison Break" is an exciting, thrilling TV show and has a tense and cliffhanging ending. It's got to have one of the most original ideas and is more intriguing than many other TV shows that I have watched. The only slight problem is that the dialogue doesn't live up to its brilliant plot.

    IMO this is the best season of the very good TV show. Too bad it went downhill after this season, but it happens to (almost) every show I have heard about.

    The first season of Prison Break was very catchy then the second one was a bit boring, I feeled that it was over extended. Again the third season struck hard and was great. Overall it is a nice one for the one who love suspense.
    Cant get rid off it once you start watching.

I pay attention to details, and although his show has many fake parts, parts that are very unrealistic, and forced action and forced things that happen, it still is entertaining. I watched all 80 episodes. I would not necessarily recommend this, it is long, and only so/so. But it is not horrible. I have mixed reviews on it. With this in mind, even with hindsight, series 1 is not as strong as it could be, and although entertaining does not project how great Prison Break is.

    Acting true to its title, the story does featuring an intricate and insane plot to escape from a maximum security prison, but underlying this is a story based on brotherly bonds and commitments and how even the best thought out plans still require trust in strangers.

    In addition there is a secondary plot outside the prison where attempts are made to encourage a lawful pardon. This plot caters for the main antagonists who emerge from corrupt government agents. However it's all a little irreverent and contributes unnecessary running time.

    This adds to the issue of overexertion and repetition. The core storyline splits into two, but they don't share an equal interest and excitement. The tensions aren't mingling in together and it quickly becomes draining. This in itself is not a bad thing, if such draining is rewarded with progress in the plot, but it's not. The Series lingers on, sometimes hopelessly; it's too slow.

    However that doesn't mean that it is boring. The acting is ace and the dialogue is immersive. In addition there are a huge number of characters who have strong personalities that you will have time to make your concrete connections to them. The show is full of tense moments, which in addition to a very appropriate soundtrack and ambient audio, makes the realistic environments even more compelling.

    One would need to be more patient than an average individual. It starts off with a quick climb, but takes a long time to come down. If you can hold your nerve then there is a lot of potential here, and if you enjoy this then the other series are a must watch.    … Expand
