    Cliche. Bad imitation of Miami Vice. The acting is horrible. The storyline has been done a million times. Nothing fresh or exciting. Certainly no Sopranos but a poor imitation.....like the fashion, interior design, nightclubs and everything else it copies.

    I absolutely love this show, i tune in with my girl every Saturday night so far and plan on continuing. Love the plot, the acting is great and the music continuously surprises me... 50 did a great job in conjunction with all of the others who helped put this show together!

    Best show so far , for late 2014 ending , im looking forward for game of thrones next year , but this show is keeping me busy , Fantastic show i hope there will be alot of seasons.

    Glitz rubbish, its filled to the brim with stereotypes and cliches. This show is a decade too late. The characters are not even trying to fool anyone at all. Take for example Curtis Jackson's performance in prison- it is wretched.

    POWER is a GREAT show! With Courtney Kemp (Good Wife) and 50 Cent on board there is a lot of hype and pressure and the first episode delivers! Great atmosphere, realism, suspense, mystery, and action make the first episode great. Omari Hardwicks's character GHOST is a drug dealer who has kids. This gives many story arcs and leaves him with something to lose. He is smart enough to see hePOWER is a GREAT show!     No depth. My wife and I struggled to watch the entire first episode. Production values are very, very low - you will see higher quality hero costumes at your local Comic-Con. Might appeal to children, but has little chance of capturing an adult audience.

    Good realistic story with no heroes in it.50 cent knows A to Z about hustling and real world drug deal scenarios can be seen in this.it has potential to be a good show and hope they make long run.

    I thought this show was pretty good from the first couple episodes. After finishing episode six (aired June 19th), I think it is phenomenal. The excellent acting, dialogue, plot twists, and edge-of-your-seat moments keep you anxiously awaiting the next episode. Ghost's cool business demeanor compliments Tommy's in your face and cold-blooded side, even though both have shown an eerieI thought this show was pretty good from the first couple episodes. Duh its in the Gangster genre.If I watch a New Love Story, Comic Series, or MOB show, Political Drama there will be similarities with previous characters and plots based on History. However what changes is the execution and delivery of the story.     Loved it. Watched the preview last week and I am having withdrawal. The old girlfriend storyline is a bit predictable, but this show is going to be my new summer favorite. I am hoping people give it a chance.

    Power is a great programme.it is about two friends who were up to no good selling drugs, killing and a lot of violence. I know that this programme has a lot of violence but it shows what happens in real life and what the consequences are if you get into business like this. I believe that this programme shows a lot of things that people need to learn as there is a lot of deaths and crimes,Power is a great programme.it is about two friends who were up to no good selling drugs, killing and a lot of violence. This programme is age restricted as it also has explicit scenes and bad language in it, which means this programme is not suitable for kids. I do not care what people think but I believe that this programmes has deep storyline as there are kids involved in this violence and threats sent to James ST Patrick and his family. James ST Patrick is one of the friends that sold drugs but had stop selling and invested his money into a club and used the club to hide all the money he made from selling drugs. James ST Patricks other friend is still selling drugs and gets into a lot of trouble with the police and creates a lot of enemies throughout the series. Also I believe that power is very addictive as ever episode has a cliff-hanger which make people to carry on watching. In my opinion I think this programme is great and is really interesting and I definitely recommend this to others.… Expand

    A bit predictable and formulaic, "Power" still displays potential with some decent performances yet struggles with the clichéd storyline and dull pacing. Here's to hoping things pick up in the future.

    Good casting and solid performances. With summer scheduling, this show brings a decent watch for time-wasting. Strong lead performance from Omari Hardwick.

    i looovee this show. i think they picked the best people to act in this tv series. the chemistry between angie and ghost is incredible. i hope this show continues and next year more episodes...eight was not even close to being enough!!!!!

    I LOVE POWER!!! It is the best drama I have seen in years. At first I thought that the show was going to be boring but the show is HOTTTTT!! I can not wait to see Season 2 and what is going to happen to Ghost and Tommy.

    Power is a well executed TV series that shows you the reality of the lead character 'Ghost's' relationship with other affiliates. in one word power is liberating.

    Unfortunately, I think the character development is weak and the plot sits too high up on the surface lacking the depth needed to avoid the cliches. I don't find myself rooting for any of the main characters because of their poor likability factor. His emotional demeanor and mental acuity just doesn't relate to the position of Power he has earned in the show. Ive been part of the game and watched many close to me end up behind bars because it wasn't played right. Theres no way Tommy would have gotten this far without have been pinched or shot by now. I want to like the dynamic duo of Tommy and Ghost but the chemistry just isn't there. The production value is awesome, but the story just doesn't attract empathy for anyone. The only one who evicts emotion for me is 50Cent's character. He's grimy, ruthless, and for good reason, because he knows Ghost is who got him put away. Even his son's character is weak. I really wanted more than what this show provides.… Expand

    A very entertaining show. You won't regret watching this if you are a fan of gangster dramas like Ray Donovan, Boardwalk Empire and The Wire. My only criticism is the leading ladies weren't particularly well acted. Joe Sikora playing Thomas Egan is by far the strongest character of the show. I wouldn't be surprised if this role launches him into more mainstream television and film.

    Really enjoying this after series one and part way through series 2, but for gods sake tell the script writers to stop having the characters use each other first names before speaking to each other so much, it's cheesy and unrealistic and ruins some otherwise decent acting

    Ghost is good. Angela can't stand, I wanna see Gnost waste her and get out of jail. 50 cent is a mf'er and playing that part good af. Tommy is cool as they get a little to naive though. Like to see some Cartel and major drug dealing. Wanna see that Ghost always has the upper-hand and running everything like a true Boss. Please kill off Angela.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Absolutely garbage. it is so draggy and boring and it does not engage you. James is very weak for a businessman, he can't even control himself. this show only shows some scenes in a club, at 3 houses, and loads of sex scenes. you can not root for any character because the characters are so one dimensional. it's so unbelievable how James could partner up with a trigger-happy Tommy.
    I only feel very bad for poor Tasha who got cheated on, while she was so loyal and supportive, and she got cheated on because his stupid husband decided to suddenly hook up with a stupid bland unattractive Mexican who was a super Mary Sue and had already left him before, who is nothing in comparison with Tasha. I only could watch 1 season and 1 episode from season 2 before I gave up.    … Expand

    Everyone seems to be imitating someone they saw in another gangster movie. It would be funny, if it weren't quite so tedious.

    It moves along, dutifully moving the players to their appointed plot points. And there are some nice performances; I would draw your attention to that of Naturi Naughton, as Ghost's wife, consistently a warm body in an often chilly show.

    Power has some pull, but maybe not enough to win a tug of war. Its overall pacing could use a perk-up and its portrayals of minorities (who twice drop the n-word) might take more heat if 50 Cent wasn’t both calling the shots and rapping a theme song that includes the lyric, “I’m an undercover liar. I lie under the covers.”
