    Predictable after a couple episodes. Decent premise though. Falls into the network old safe network TV cycle but the acting is decent

    First episode was really good and really enjoyed that one. Second one was enjoyable also, but a little less. After those 2 it just completely felt repetitive. That's maybe no problem to some people, but every episode again she is looking for lies and trying to proof who is the killer. It doesn't surprise anymore and there's no real reason to continue. Average at best in the end.

    I can't believe they gender-swapped Columbo! What will RUIN Johnson and the WOKE MOB destroy next!?

    It's already settled into a formula four episodes in, and it's got a very Jessica Fletcher feel to it (Charlie Cale just happens to be around when someone is murdered each episode so she can solve it) but it's also very entertaining.     Slow and formulaic. Warn the towns she passes through there's going to be a murder. Hopefully she can solve them all while on the run and keep her wits about her without worrying that someone wants to kill her.

    So bland, uninspired, and filled with nonsense that I couldn't even get to the end of the first episode. The worst part was probably when Charlie confronts the two killers in their office without even the slightest concern that they may then want her dead also. I found the whole thing to be ridiculously pathetic.

    Brill ... really great show. Reminiscent of the old 80s Saturday night shows, Murder She Wrote etc... Nothing too graphic and would probably be suitable for my 13 year old EXCEPT for the scene where she unlocks the tablet in Episode 1!!??? Just seems so unecessary and out of place to show (albeit briefly) umpteen images of male genitalia. NOTHING else in each spisode so far has anythingBrill ... really great show. Reminiscent of the old 80s Saturday night shows, Murder She Wrote etc...     It's appropriate that Poker Face is streaming on Peacock. From the opening credits that mimic the standard orange lettering (even down to the little copyright scroll that appears on the Poker Face title card), to the episodic feel of the series, Rian Johnson is paying homage to those NBC mystery series of the seventies like Columbo, McMillan and Wife and McCloud. And much like those showsIt's appropriate that Poker Face is streaming on Peacock. From the opening credits that mimic the standard orange lettering (even down to the little copyright scroll that appears on the Poker Face title card), to the episodic feel of the series, Rian Johnson is paying homage to those NBC mystery series of the seventies like Columbo, McMillan and Wife and McCloud. And much like those shows the central character comes with a special quirk. Whereas Columbo was the disheveled genius, McMillan had his quirky trouble-prone wife and McCloud was the country fish in the big city, Poker Face has Natasha Lyonne's Charlie Cale. She can intuit when someone is lying. And who better to embody the "detective", or more honestly the "detector" than Natasha Lyonne. Cleverly written, but not TOO clever, I may like this series just a smidge more than Johnson's Knives Out films. And I ain't lying.… Expand

    I'm going to be 100% honest here. Rian Johnson was the director. If you have seen his work and fine tooth comb anything he does your will find so many errors and plot holes. I will give you just one, from the first episode. It's not really a spoiler, but when the poker face lady walks into that trailer, there should be copious amounts of blood on that carpet, and she walks in that exactI'm going to be 100% honest here. Rian Johnson was the director. If you have seen his work and fine tooth comb anything he does your will find so many errors and plot holes. I will give you just one, from the first episode.     She's listening to talk radio in her car when somebody says 80 percent of Mexicans are criminals (as if anybody would say this)so that she can go on a rant against the MAGA dog who is listening to it. You want to alienate half your audience with your stupid takes? Done.

    There will, of course, be those who whine and bawl about "woke" this and "Woke" that and rate this show low because they cannot imagine any other way. Ignore them and their foolishness. This is a superbly written and directed show and Natasha Lyon is superb in the lead row. The episodic nature of the show is a nice change to overblown season long arcs. An amazing show.

    It’s fun just to watch her detect lies! Amazing and unique show. Surprisingly decent, with interesting characters.

    It’s fun. Pretty notable that the negative reviews are dude’s who are, five years later, still crying uncontrollably about The Last Jedi

    Every episode falls in place, it can be dark, but most of the time it's a lot of fun - and I can't get enough of it. I'm hoping Peacock sees the value of Poker Face and keeps it going for a long time to come.

    The charasmatic Natasha Lyonne is the hook in this mystery solving series with a difference.
    The problem with this show is it becomes rather formualic the further the series goes on.

    Funny, surprising, separate stories in episodes keeping it fresh and even with some predictable structure is still great TV. Very fresh and would never though that it can be called by some losers 'woke'. Some people just see 'woke' in everything, looking to label everything. Really fun show!

    Fantastic! This is a clever and fun show. I like that each episode has it's own story. That make the series more enjoyable. Natasha Lyonne is on a roll. After a great run with Russian Dolls, she continues to entertain us. Is she channeling Peter Falk's Columbo in Poker Face? Maybe a little bit. I feel she is just being herself in all her roles. It works for her and us. Great show!

    In its lane (a droll, self-aware game of TV Cluedo in which the viewer gets to peek at the cards) and turbopowered by the human electrical storm that is La Lyonne, Poker Face works a treat.

    Rian Johnson and Natasha Lyonne have brilliantly recreated Columbo’s howcatchem formula in the first four episodes of Poker Face. The mystery-of-the-week show is packed with quirky characters, humor with a bit of bite, and excellent performances from Lyonne and the murderers she must puzzle out how to bring to justice.

    Poker Face plays it a lot more straight [than Knives Out]. But it’s gripping, grisly when it needs to be, and Lyonne is charm on a stick. Anyone who claims they aren’t enjoying it is probably telling porky pies.
