Season 2 comes back stronger with none of the inconsistencies of the first but all of its best qualities. Fortunately reducing the multiple instances of racism it actually attempts to give Mae depth beyond hot tempered Vietnamese lady. Josh's mother steals the show! Her portrayal of bipolar is so affecting and real and her battle with her depression is the most realistic thats been onSeason 2 comes back stronger with none of the inconsistencies of the first but all of its best qualities. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The show manages to balance "heavy" issues like mental illness, suicide, and coming out with enough wit and sensitivity that you often don't know what hit you. The episodes are sprinkled with a few genuine, hearty laughs, but mostly awkward little chuckles. But that doesn't take away from the brilliant, soft-spoken way that some of these heavier issues are addressed. At heart, Please Like Me is a show about growing up, no matter what age you are, and facing the things that scare or intimidate you. Just watch it, it's so good. Expand

Sinceramente la segunda temporada es mejor que la primera, me hizo reír demasiado es una lastima la muerte de Ginger.

Josh's anxiety may occasionally drive you mental. But then, if you can fully appreciate the brilliance of this quarterlife-crisis suicide comedy, you may already be a little mental. So that's nice.
