Season 1 Review:
Each episode of Planet Sex has a different balance of informative vs. playful, but it never strikes an off-color tone. Delevingne seems both excited and curious to speak with all of the show's participants. What’s more, she’s intent on changing public perception of the topics that she covers—even if it’s in her signature, outlandish style.

Season 1 Review:
It is not a series designed to dig deep into these issues, but it is rare that they are even touched upon as part of a grand sweep such as Planet Sex, and along with Delevingne’s unexpectedly strong presenting skills and directness, it lifted the whole. I love this for us.

Season 1 Review:
Delevingne, in other words, is here to see and do everything the viewer can’t. To her credit, she’s a sparky, funny, natural presence. ... Those who don’t find her millennial restlessness stimulating might well find it grating, or – worse – a total turn-off. That would be a pity, as there are segments of interest in every instalment, whatever your leanings, however you identify.

Season 1 Review:
There were more "Oka-a-a-y" moments, such as when Delevingne said: "I have only once spent about an hour making love to myself. I cried." But there was also much that was genuinely educational, not least that during climax human bodies produce a cannabis-like substance. Still, I did wonder if the ones who could really do with a female biology lesson, ie men, would have bothered to watch.

Season 1 Review:
It is actually educational in places, explaining sexuality and desire, but I suspect it will also titillate a wider audience. Really, they should have just cut out the planet and called it Sex with Cara Delevingne, because you’ll pretty much feel like that’s what you’ve had after watching it.

Season 1 Review:
Despite flashes of silliness and fun, Planet Sex manages to be neither. If your sole exposure to queer culture is Target Pride Month crop tops and Nathan Lane in The Birdcage, Planet Sex may very well be revelatory. For many of us, however, it’s something of a joyless slog through a subject that should very much be the opposite.
