    Some of the items are more then what the guys behind the desk are wanting it for.. The owner usually asks more but then the guys behind the desk want a whole lot less so their ripping them off. another 1

    Awesome show! Informative and fun!!! Extremely addictive too!     It's difficult to explain my love for Pawn Stars. From the outside, it may just look like any old dumb reality/educational show. However, after watching a few episodes, you finally realize what it's all about.
    Day after day, you find yourself watching more and more episodes to the point where you recite the entire theme-song/intro without thinking twice. However, after watching a few episodes, you finally realize what it's all about.
    Day after day, you find yourself watching more and more episodes to the point where you recite the entire theme-song/intro without thinking twice. Eventually, you realize that you've lost all your real friends. Instead, you have only one new friend: Chumlee.

    Pawn Stars becomes your new identity as it slowly draws you in. One day, you'll realize that you cannot live without it. You pray by it, worship the old man, and constantly answer the trivia questions before commercial breaks. It takes over.

    The only issue with this show is the effect it has had. Now, there are so many pawn-related shows that it's ridiculous. Hardcore Pawn, Hardcore Pawn: Chicago, Cajun Pawn Stars... ugh. The list goes on.
    Also, Big Hoss is kind of a douche.

    This show is awful, and is a perfect example of what's wrong with TV.

    A reality show is only interesting if the premise is out of the ordinary, like those guys that fought illegal whaling on the high seas... not something you see every day. But watching regular schmucks working at a pawn shop? Are you kidding me? Could you possibly come up with a more lame idea? What's next, people that    This show is awful, and is a perfect example of what's wrong with TV.

No one in their right mind could enjoy watching average people doing average things. YAAAAAAWWWWN.

    What makes it worse is that it is on the History Channel, taking up a time slot from what should be a documentary on actual history.    … Expand

    A terrible show with poor acting and an incredibly repetitive premise. It is a history show disguised as a stupid fake pawn shop reality show. Most of it is obviously scripted and humor is nonexistent.

    Pawn Stars used to be good, but it's gotten old. The items that people have brought into the shop recently aren't very interesting, probably because the show has featured similar items in past episodes. The store hardly even counts as a pawn shop because all anyone ever does there is sell antiques. Additionally, the acting is not believable. Everything the characters say behind the scenes sounds scripted. Corey is the least believable of any of them. The scenarios are also predictable. Rick buys an item which leads the characters to challenge each other to some sort of game. The loser has to do something embarrassing such as wearing a pink shirt at work for a week. Rick never loses. Chumlee always cheats. The Old Man always curses. Same thing every episode.… Expand

    The History Channel brings us a brilliant anime unlike any other. With a thrilling story, developed characters, hilarious humor and stunning animation it is hard to see how this wouldn't be the best production of the millennium. In a time of great sorrow I turned to this show to give me hope and it did.
