Jan 8, 2020okay so here we go lets start by saying this show isnt for everyone and its not intended to be the shows about a family that got seperated due to stupid reasons and they have to live with their brother but its a cute sweet heartwarming show with plenty of laughs and enjoyment to be had the show made me laugh smile and all of the above

Jul 3, 2020Solid show. Clearly favors more a Latin or Hispanic audience (why it was canceled) but that doesn’t mean it can’t be enjoyed by EVERYONE. The characters are like-able and the stories written are good to decent. There are far more terrible shows out there getting season after season. I hope this show gets picked up by another network.

It’s a compelling premise, though the show still needs to flesh out the kids as characters.

Freeform’s “Party of Five” reboot spoke to me in ways the original never did – the Acostas’ precarious situation feels much closer to the jagged edge of reality than the Salingers ever approached.

The trick with a series like this is to educate and inform the viewer without seeming preachy. The main point of a family drama must remain to entertain. Party of Five does that with compelling teen angst, love triangles, rebellious adolescents, family intrigue and all the other things that make a good drama tick.
