I can't believe the scores critics are giving this. Its a well made show and full of suspense. I love it

Season 1 was amazing, and while season 2 isn’t quite as perfect as season 1 was, it’s still really really good. So much better than any number of critically higher rated shows these days.

Ozark is a riveting and often very funny crime show; it's my favorite since Breaking Bad; I also have no idea why critics don't like it as all of my friends who are watching love it. This is one to forget the critics and make your own choice for sure.

Season 1 was amazing but Season 2 is even better. This is a great show and I want more.

The second season of Ozark starts out strong. It continues on with the intriguing storylines it set up last season for the first six episodes, but as the show chugs along into the second half of the season it becomes clear that the writers weren't exactly sure how to drag this season's storylines out to 10 episodes, and the pacing and entertainment level of the show suffer as a result. The second season of Ozark starts out strong. Frankly, it gets a bit boring in the final few episodes of the season. However, the characters are all still engaging, and the finale did set up a third season that will get me to come back for more...but I am a little worried about how much longer this show will remain a "must-watch". This season was a little disappointing, but Jason Bateman was still awesome
I hope the third season will be better

The story arcs in season 2 are gripping and unpredictable and successfully steers clear of feeling contrived. The characters are more fleshed out and every one of them has a moment to shine. The writers made some real efforts to paint three-dimensional scenarios around three dimensional characters and it works very well. This is an excellent follow-up to season 1 and well worth your time.

In the right mood. Scenes, music, colours - as in S01 - perfect. Acting - first class, just huuuge respect - especially Laura Linney, such incredibly goood actress. (also applause to Julia Garner for acting). It lost something in the plot but it is still very good, original show, worth every minute spent watching it. Very recommended!

Don't understand the bad reviews. Granted, I still have a few episodes left of the season, but this is equally as good as the first season at least, and is a very dark morality tale about the nature of evil, how when you try to make a pact with evil and rationalize it you lose control and it eventually takes over.

I'm sorry to say that Season 2 of Ozark is missing the original mojo and credibility of Season 1.

I still love to watch, but it's now like watching a show long past its prime. In a nutshell, Season 2 of Ozark shows a more power-hungry Wendy, a more defiant Charlotte, Jonah taking care of a baby (?), and a more distracted Marty. If Jason Bateman was in the scene, the scene always

In a nutshell, Season 2 of Ozark shows a more power-hungry Wendy, a more defiant Charlotte, Jonah taking care of a baby (?), and a more distracted Marty. If Jason Bateman was in the scene, the scene always seemed to end with him excusing himself to take a phone call, or answering a text and then exiting with "I gotta go!"

It's just gone too far now. The Cartel or the Snells would've killed them long, long ago. I love Linney and Bateman, and if they make another season, I'll still watch... But this season is like watching "Godfather 3"; or the first prequel of Star Wars. It's just hollow compared to the original magic of Season 1.

Don't know how they did it but they managed to develop every character to the point that I couldn't care less about any of them. It got downright annoying towards the end. I was seriously hoping the cartel would just put them all out of their misery. Don't bother with season 3 Netflix - you wrecked a good first season with a pretty bad second.

Slow-moving, confusing at times, humorless, and kinda dull. We don't like all the swearing. Made it to the huntung scene in S2 E2 and turned it off for good. Sorry.

The critics got this one wrong - season 2 is SO much better than season 1. In particular, Laura Linney's character is so much stronger and more fully fleshed-out. I'm loving this (through episode 5).

Stupid, boring show. The thing that bothers me the most is that it could have been good. It was supposed to be the new Breaking Bad. Instead, it's just bad.

Underrated! No, it's not Breaking Bad, but what is? This has great, complex characters. Suspenseful. You can't help but think about these characters and their choices and the consequences of those choices. I'm looking forward to season 3.

Liked Season #1 and Season 2 looks good, BUT, not to sound prudish, the language is too over-the-top. We can't watch the show with the front door open because of all the swear words...After a while all the "F@cks", "Pr!cks". and "C@nts", becomes numbing..Profanity should be the seasoning, not the main course. Too bad cause the story draws you in.....Sorry Forgot score..Deserves better than "0"

Enjoyed season 1. Season 2 is almost unwatchable. The acting is embarrassingly bad, even from the 2 stars. The writing is predicable and cheesy. The scene where Marty is shaving Buddy... seriously? The only interesting or likable character here is Wyatt who gets almost no screen time. Very disappointing.

Season 2 has the same issues with season 1 with the pacing but it is a step above. The characters and writing is still great. The final episodes are great but the episodes leading up to it are a bit slow with some great moments.

Final episode ruined everything thanks to stupid script decisions. A little disapointment, but it's still really fun and exciting to watch.

Season 2 much less clunky than season 1. Some great thoughts on justice, criminal and legal, pop into your head in each episode. Don't F with the FBI because you're at the end of the whip of the government, but don't F with the cartel because now it's the end of the barrel. Amazing that old Snell is really Scottish.

The illusion of depth without any actual there there is an Ozark specialty. By the end of season two, it’s dragged itself to exactly where you’d think it would go, and racked up quite a body count (also proving it hasn’t really learned the lessons of the shows that came before it, which did their best to hold off on killing major characters). But none of it feels as if it has any meaning beyond getting from the end of season one to the start of season three. It’s a bridge to nowhere that keeps building itself right in front of you.

The echoes of "Breaking Bad" have grown louder in Ozark...While by no means a great show, the intense second season cements its status as an eminently binge-worthy one.

Most of what was good in season one remains good, most importantly Linney. ... But then there are a few excruciating characters and subplots this time around.
