Why this banality is so highly rated is incomprehensible? It’s laugh track dullness personified. Not a single original concept. Even the Latin angle has been done before in Ugly Betty. I struggled through one episode. Never again.Dreadful.

I really was enjoying this remake until somewhere during the second season EVERY SINGLE EPISODE HAD A WOKE lesson plan for the day.. until it got to the point that I simply skipped over every part the woke daughter was in.
