    It's a touching doc, with a spare approach that hearkens back to Friday Night Lights in its feel. Most boxers are damaged people who have lived tough lives. Freddie is no exception. I familiarized myself with him around 1998 when was training my favorite boxer Johnny Tapia. He's a special guy, and this program doesn't sugarcoat things.
