This documentary series shed light on a lot of things people that weren't alive at the time never got to see, or hear about in an unbiased perspective. It is truly unbiased. It chronicles the life of OJ from early childhood in a poorThis documentary series shed light on a lot of things people that weren't alive at the time never got to see, or hear about in an unbiased perspective. It is truly unbiased. It chronicles the life of OJ from early childhood in a poor neighborhood in Los Angeles, to his career in football and entertainment, his raceless crossover into every aspect of life, his greedy commercialism, his self preservation of his image, the turbulent relationship and eventual murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman (he did it), the court case and seedy lawyers stirring the pot, the racist and negligent LAPD, and everything in between. It is an utterly life changing documentary, told from the perspective of OJ's friends (and former friends), the jurors, the LAPD, journalist present at the time, and many others sans OJ of course. I cannot recommend it enough. I started the fourth part with my brother who hadn't seen the previous parts, and they were equally as enthralled as myself. Incredibly detailed documentation about a hero of america in 5 episodes. It does not only show the life of O.J., but also the backgrounds in these times.
