Summary:
Known as The Norm Show in its first season (when it was a hit), this sitcom was a vehicle for former SNL star Norm MacDonald, here playing a former hockey star who is banned from the game for gambling and sentenced to five years of community service as a social worker (or else he must go to jail). Norm went on to air for two additional seasons, though, thanks to numerous scheduling changes, its ratings declined, leading to cancellation.
