    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This used to be an interesting show. The unconventional medical director attempts to fix medical services for the benefit of the people served by a major hospital.

    Now Max is taking on every PC issue and single handedly tries to “fix” racism, global warming and whatever else the crackpot writers dream up. A real medical director would have been shown the door after only one of these stunts.

    Here’s the bottom line: this show does NOT succeed in its preachy attempts to change this fictional world,. It actually shows how stupid and misguided Max has become when ignoring the needs of the ED in favor of making everyone in his hospital miserable to do next to nothing to supposedly “fix” global warming, while in the process ignoring the basic medical tenet of “first do no harm.” We cringe at a child left in a hot car while he chooses to ignore the needs of his own child by turning off the AC.

    Continue like this, and I’ll vote to pull the plug on this idiotic show and its writers.    … Expand
