Even though some decisions might look harsh at first, the third season somehow manages to keep the brilliance of the show, all while bringing these characters to new places as we see them growing up and maturing. Thanks to the light, funny and sometimes heartbreaking but always great writing.

The shows weaknesses and strength had been more of the same the past twp seasons but on the third one instead of it beginning funnier than it winds out being it tries to remain consistent. It attempts to round off it's characters.

Insanely good. Subverts some stereotypes while reinforcing others. Takes a stereotype and gives it depth and nuance.

I mean, at this point, Devi's charm is keeping the show alive, but with a third love interest, Never Have I ever has turned quite formulaic and basic.

It’s a sweet return to the world of Devi Vishwakumar. ... [Maitreyi Ramakrishnan] delivers the script’s jokes with perfect timing, and she plays the dramatic moments with an appealing understatement.

The show continues to be a realistic and empathetic portrayal of what being a teenager looks like.

For better or worse, Never Have I Ever's new season offers more of the same as its last two outings. It's not a surprising show, but rather a comfortingly consistent one. It remains smart and funny, with a killer cast.
