This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Just when I think this show has a chance to become something that could stand alone (apart from the NCIS franchise), something comes along to squash my expectations.

Pride's personal flaws and "I'm a damaged child" back story pretty much ensure self defeating, career endangering plot lines. Sorry, that old dog doesn't hunt.

Each female agent they've tried in this series is pretty much worse than the last. The original female agent was nothing to write home about, so bad writing and casting is just another anchor dragging this turkey down to the bottom of the swamp.

Sad to see Christopher character go, as he at least was believable some of the time. Understand the actor wanting to move on. Performing this show's scripts would wear me out eventually, too!

Still like most of the other supporting characters, but they cannot carry this show on their own.

Depends on the week, but usually this is the worst of the three NCIS shows, with LA exceeding it on the crapola meter on a regular basis.

I can only imagine the three NCIS shows are now negotiated as a package deal with the network. All of them will get renewed, or none of them will. If CBS wants the original NCIS, the two ugly step-sisters will have to have an invitation to the ball as well.
