Stitching a thrilling ensemble to supplant Wagner Moura’s awards-worthy performance as Pablo Escobar, Narcos enjoys an unexpected renaissance in its third season thanks to a compelling narrative, and rich character development.

    what a great season
i tought it would be better that series ended in two seasons but i changed my mind after i watched this season
i loved first season but i think season 3 is the best season: great characters with such great acting, good plot with a rapturous events.
i hardly breath during the last episodes of this season, i think its just great.

    cant wait for season 4

    Drama at its best
Series 3 beats the first two hands down.
I binge watched the show utterly riveted by the storyline and could hardly look when Matias Varela as Jorge Salcedo was caught out and nearly killed. Though so many performances were top quality Jorge for me was the star of the show i was rooting for him throughout his humanity was his greatest asset in comparison with the

Narcos remains a great TV show, even without Pablo Escobar. I had my misgivings about this season since I couldn't figure out how they would continue without Escobar, but they did a great job. Can't wait for Season 4.

The thrilling new season manages to stay in its vein, even without Pablo Escobar. The action-packed episodes, which were the core of the show are still there, compelling and suspenseful. On the other hand, the show still relies on narration and montages as a way of introducing characters and telling the story to the viewer.

They f*** it up. It was absolutely perfect for 2 seasons, but the 3rd season in, we have the following happening:
prolonged scenes with forced suspense; annoying actors; characters which are hard to care for (the supposed protagonists also feel forced); story telling is more random; overall scenery cheapness and bad acting all over the place.
Even the quality of narrative speech is down

It's safe to say that the high standard to which the first two seasons were made, is no longer here. One more example of how natural corporation-policy degradation happens for any well established product, at some point in time. For these, once cult series, this point starts to get really obvious about after 3 episodes of season 3.
Definitely watchable but average at best.

Not a great season, show should have ended with Pablo dead. They also ruined this season by hiring so many known tv actors, including newman from seinfeld. Just an awful season, the script sucks and forced too.

Narcos season 3 exceeded my expectations. This show may even be better than the previous 2 seasons, and believe me, even without Escobar, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. The acting is phenomenal, the characters are well developed, and everything else is simply satisfying. Love this show, and can't wait for more!

Expand

I was a bit nervous with the new cartel moving in but I gotta say, They did it perfectly. The actors who portray the Cali Cartel bosses are just fantastic. Pedro Pascal does a great job leading on the DEA side of things and it's great to see him in the spot light again instead of taking a back seat like he did in season 2. Awesome. Exciting. Mind-blowing. Too many good things to say about this new season, the performances never disappoint, an exquisite screenplay... Although we have a change of protagonist, Pedro Pascal is unblemished.

I'm totally happy for it to end here. Unless Pena changes his mind about Mexico... but then again, he's probably getting too old for this ****

Narcos definitely cements itself as one of the best crime dramas TV has to offer. Outstandingly intense and Jaw-dropping season.literally this season was insane as hell every episode was like increasing the excitement it was impressive.the starting 2 seasons were mainly focused on Pablo Escobar with he's entire life story with details, the 1st season was like the base for story of Escobar and 2nd one was like taking action but this season was literally a way ahead with only Operation to take down the cartel without enough digging in whole back-story.the music and new intro with same music was phenomenal, acting was iconic Pena as new boss with his team and the Cali members they were amazing although i missed Murphy at start, him and Pena together they were amazing team and i wanted to watch the journey of Escobar's family and Judie's and Don Berna's however at a episode we got beloved Berna's hand with operation it was amazing, but still i really want to watch the after-math of Escobar's death and journey of his family,Steve and other former important members but this show was literally professionally great only pin-point story no extra things it was okay, the side characters and members were amazing too the Salcedo, banker and Guillermo they were like important parts of taking down the Cali and they were great, the 1st episode was slow it took time to settle with new operation and new members with intro's of Cali with every member like the Rodriguez brothers and Pacho and the new-yorker it was decent from then on literally everything was like don't even blink or ill miss something although because of subtitles it was no option to blink.the 1st small raid in the office of Guillermo was thrilling and intense the room scene was amazing from then on the heat and excitement was at peak, the party thing and surrender deal was like another shock to the Cali against there partners literally the way the game was set it was clever by the Gilberto, then the 4th episode the checkmate it was like water splashes to the sleep while amazing dream the whole Raid operation in that it was literally intense and great, the stairway hideout was clever but the arrest it was blunder to that,Pena and his team was amazing the real foot-ages of arrest was awesome as per real biography thing, after the arrest the whole things was like now something is on.the Miami blast and the Salazar's thing with the north valley attack at another party it was like at war,the revenges were awesome and the shootout it was dark, the Pena with the banker's girlfriend investigation was amazing the way he use and arrest it was impressive although at last the murder of banker and kidnap of his girlfriend was like brilliant cat and mouse game it was outstanding the rescue mission in forest with help of Berna it was amazing, the Salazar wife thing was little dark.the David and the Salcedo rivalry was phenomenal the taunts in between with the misunderstanding and death of his friend with Rat thing and the way Salcedo fools it was brilliantly intense and great, the salcedo was amazing throughout the story he's risking and his work was great the small planning with him and DEA team and the very close getting Miguel Rodriguez with the political pressure behind that was literally amazing episode it was breathtaking the last minute rescue of minister while breaking wall it was like WOW it was very close, then the 9th episode it was like pure Masterpiece it was one of the greatest episode, every sec was like increasing tension it was nail-bitingly amazing the raid with the finding-out the truth about salcedo by David and the rescuing of his family with sudden raid and it was very close for Salcedo then the arrest of Miguel Rodriguez it was like total Checkmate while knowing the game was something else the Twist was literally Ground-Breaking and Mind-blowing the involvement of President and the way Pena fooled the Defence Minister with call it was clever and Mind-blowing,seriously this episode's every second was masterpiece!then the last episode it was like all-in perfect the rescue mission of Guillermo with tension of David and the drama at the jail with risking Pena career it was like totally great the death of David with North valley members it was satisfying and the Guillermo at court, the way Pena played the game with system it was brilliantly Clever the politics and the president thing at last it was satisfying then the climax foot-ages of the fates of Cali members with Rodriguez Brothers in american jail and death of New-Yorker and Pacho it was really Checkmate although as per real the Salcedo after-math was little disappointing but the way it;s all is captured it was unbelievably great, the Pena at last with he's dad and the reference of Mexico Spin-off it was literally an Perfect end to the most amazing season and the greatest Biography show ever!literally A Masterpiece! Thankfully, those voice-overs seem fewer this season, the better to concentrate on the show’s action, which is frequently startling and absorbing.

I think by the last of the six episodes I watched, I was more engaged than at any point in the first two seasons, despite the lack of Moura. If you're a Narcos fan, stick with the show through the place-setting opening and know that it finds its footing.

If that seemed like bravado at the time, the third season of Narcos has demonstrated that it's capable of reloading, recasting and, dramatically speaking, delivering the same high.
